Understanding and kindness
Hello my lovely friends.
Like each one of you I read the blogs and sometimes I may not agree with what someone has written. None of us are totally alike. We come from all walks of life. Different countries, believes, cultures, hobbies, likes and dislikes. We do not have to agree on all things. Life would certainly be boring if everyone was like me.
We need all kinds of people to make this life an interesting journey.
I have read this quote many times and it once again turned up on my facebook and every time it does.. it makes me STOP and THINK.
I know sometimes I need to remember this more and.. be a little more understanding and kinder in my thoughts.
It is said ``Wherever kindness is planted LOVE will grow.``
These are a few thoughts that have enriched my mind.. so thought I would share them with you.
Hoping you are all enjoying a peaceful, HAPPY day wherever you are and that you will be both giver and recipient of understanding and kindness.

The beauty of understanding and kindness is that they are ageless and timeless... EVERYONE needs to feel understood and we all need kindness, they are universal and for all.. no matter what our differences.

Yes, totally agree with you. Respect is a huge thing too, right up there with understanding and kindness. If we can`t agree then we can respect someone elses right to their opinions and leave it at that.

Often as people we talk of `How can we make this world more peaceful?` I actually believe that ... Understanding and kindness along with respect as Lou, mentioned would go a long long way to making it a more harmonious place to be.

As for your blog, a good reminder. It can be difficult to remain impartial and not let our emotional reactions lead us to centering on only our own needs.

Itchy is about talking of tying knots in tongues..
Not sure which is worse.. a bee sting or having my tongue tied in knots

Your so right too Jac, sometimes we just want to vent our feelings but at what cost?
Kind words can never leave a sting.. but words spoken in anger can pierce right to the heart. Always good to think when we comment .. what do we really want to achieve with our comment and what is our motive?
