I think it depends on the person who love if it is true love or normal love... what is normal? I do not know, do you? What is normal to one person and it does not mean it is normal to another one? This is a fact. Love is love and it is the love you feel yourself towards another human being that is the true love for you...

As a woman who chose her single life and really enjoy life without a man "drawling" over her, I live a very good life on my own. My only regret is that as a single I have to pay the same as a couple, so in fact I pay twice... This hunts me, but does not enough to make me want another man. I live in Norway and have several reasons to be single, and there I is a lot of us in Norway, single woman, and single men... and the men end up taking a Asiatic girl as a wife... I feel fine, and have no regrets being a single, I really enjoy it.

I go with Waf in this matter, give it back to the man who gave it to you, so you can keep the good contact for your sons sake. I still have a ring my sons father gave me the first Christmas we were together, but now when my grand daughter is growing up, she will get it from me. I think that is a nice gesture from me, to keep it in the family and to show my son that he was a loved and wanted son even though we,(his parents)did get a divorce...
