Hi Ed, You were one of the first to welcome me here and I thank you for your kindness and support. Time is drawing closer for you and your love. Best wishes to you both and Happy Easter to you and your family!
F, what a loving daughter you are! not everyone still takes care of their parents , good for you. Your parents must be so proud! Enjoy your weekend, my dear friend!
@Enigma, It has been lovely to meet you also and I also enjoy your blogs although time might not permit a comment. Wishing you a wonderful Easter also!
MM, You are one of my friends both here and offline. One of the first friends I met here. Your friendship and support is one I treasure dearly and I thank you for both. Next time I am in T&T we will definitely hangout! Thank you for your kind wishes from both of us! You are truly Poet#1!!! Have a wonderful day!
My dear F, You are so sweet to say so, thank you for the lovely compliment. Yes the true friendships on here are wonderful. I am happy to hear you enjoy my blogs unfortunately time constraints has prevented me from blogging as often as I would like but I try to when I can. Thank you for your support both on PC and here. We both wish you a wonderful weekend !
Interesting blog on crucifixion, Cat! It is as you noted the general way that crucifixions were performed but not as described in the bible of Jesus' crucifixion.
Hi Aba, I too, prefer to read the book before I watch the movie. It is usually much better and untouched by the director editing. Yes paperbacks are the best!
@Enigma, I do have some friends like that also but I am of course closest with my best friend as we would sit in the same room reading our books and not talking just enjoying our books. We still enjoy life but books are a wonderful escape into another world!
@Lou, Yes, I do agree!Nothing beats a paperback! It is best when you are at the beach sitting in a beach chair while listening to the ocean with the radio playing softly and reading a novel! Heaven on earth!
Think I have only read maybe one Amy Tan book. I usually stick to my usual stuff- horrors, thrillers etc.
I recently have started reading Tony Robbins and Jack Welch, not finished yet.
@butterflies now I could be wrong but I am sure recently you blogged about reading a note...maybe it was an email. Now if I wrong....my apologies as the disabilities of others is certainly no laughing matter!
