Totally agree!
Happiness is dependent on you not another person.
Hope more people would realize this. I have always believed that a prtner should joy add to your life not stress. If you are happy alone then that person should make your life better not worse. If you are not happy with someone / or not getting joy they need to go! Life is WAYYY too short to be unhappy!

Hi Ian,
A very interesting question and I had a similar dilemna almost a decade ago with an ex-boyfriend. I am Christian and he is Hindu. It was one we had to discuss as he wasn't willing to change his religion and neither was I. It would have been a question of which faith would you raise any children we had to together in and how do you celebrate holidays etc.
We broke up soon after so the question/discussion was moot.

The operative word there is try ..but sometimes you can't help who you love.

Compromise is definitely required as you have to really decide if you can live with or without a person.

Sometimes there is no choice but you have to decide how you live your life afterwards.
There are some who wallow in self pity and the pain lingers for along while and some who pick up the peices and move on. It doesn't mean they don't love the person but you do have to learn to accept the things that you can't change and be happy.
Life is really too short..we must enjoy it.

Yes we are known by the company we keep. In on of your last blogs you mentioned accomplices when it comes to committing a crime. Now if all the TV crime shows are to be believed...when they are looking for a suspect who do the police go to if the family claims they don't know where the person is....their known acquaintances.

Re blogging a little free time but my annual work project has to start so starting from this weekend!
