I will work at my area of expertise...not some old folks home that has had the virus outbreak...in my fifties and I do smoke...wouldn't last a week...lol...
Housing is a huge problem in the cities...very expensive...which is why people are moving out to the suburbs...so the poor are no longer concentrated in the cities...those municipalities need more resources for people...
Many people recieve what is called a child benefit program which helps parents of modest or poor means of children under 18...and since the liberals have taken over child poverty has reduced... The education system is not tiered here...quality education for all...although not perfect...at least we know if a program is working and present government is not ignoring the poor...
All I am hearing from the white man is that poor people are lazy...lol... Privelage is part of problem...he does not see barriers that were in place long ago...all for white males to reign supreme...
If you work in a healthcare setting...you would be worried...just saying...let us take this seriously...do not listen to people that are not educated in such matters...
Some people whinge because you got more than me syndrome...that is the problem... Other factors...age...colour of your skin...gender...or disabilities...poverty is not that simple... Look at your history...
My country has its own problems...but we have universal healthcare...we live longer...our social programs are indeed helping the poor...I would like to see more free education aimed at the ones who cannot afford a higher education...not perpetuate the cycle of poverty...
Oh and the video...if you actually watched it...contains information that many are unaware of...black people being discriminated against...having no septic system...and living in squalor and getting hookworms...why the UN decided to investigate...although your beloved government dismissed his findings...
Amicable Considering that many people will not be able to afford getting sick...or have no savings...the government needs to help regular folks out...not just throwing money at corporations...
Palm Nothing wrong with taking matters in your own hands sort to speak...but I do believe that if you work...you should be getting a living wage...not working 2-3 jobs in order to pay rent and put food on the table...
