Serious note... I enjoy my own independence ... It is great to have money of my own and to contribute when I can or feel like doing so... furthermore, I wouldn't like the feeling of owing someone something, specifically if the relationship doesn't work out... Once his treat in a fancy restaurant and next time mine at a road house ...
@ Ian ... The man is the king of his castle...he is the head of his and is suppose to be able to look after his family (financially)... woman working is to the benefit of that household...It is a bonus and not a necessity...unless otherwise agreed by two parties... My stance... Should the woman want to stay in an expensive house whereby both incomes are needed... so be it, but then it is agreed... a man who never has money to pay for the basic needs of his family...a big no...
There are so many things you could consider... go for supper in a fancy restaurant... (where people don't know you...), before your date pick you up... you already have had a garlic snack... on your way there... you burb in the car and tell him you have a gas attack...
At restaurant... couple more burbs... and after main, you start cleaning your teeth with the steak knife... before desert, you unpack your handbag with all the medicine you could find in your house... looking for your gastric acid medication... no find you now go to the loo...return with half of a toilet paper roll still in your skirt...After that ...a nice sneeze in the serviette...
Then you mention that you are so grateful you can only be yourself with him... make him pay and make a fuzz about wasting money on tips... take all the sugars and extra salt with you in your bag... on your way home you mention that should this relationship goes to the next level... you would like to adopt and help a child to experience a typical family feeling again... remember to lower the seat for a snooze on your way home and tell him to drive like a gentleman...
You are welcome E ... I am a strong woman... can take it ... . Only principle thing for me... sometimes I think people can get so into the spur of the moment that they forget what the consequences could be of what they say or do... I believe Mr Creece meant nothing more than having a fun blog... However this could be experienced and used the wrong way if one is not cautious... no hard feelings ...
I am only pointed out the risk with what you did...that is all. If I didn't do this it could have been an open invite for any one on this site to copy pictures from personal profiles and commenting on it.
I only did my task as a fellow human right activist for anyone else on this site. That's all... I didn't have any emotional value in posting my comments... I only did what I belief is right towards anyone else on this site and protecting their 'privacy'.
Couldn't feel more relaxed... point is what you did without our ladies consent is against the law my friend ... you took pictures from their personal profiles and distributed that creating an perception about them for possible newbies... not nice
Devils advocate... I understand your intent, but are you sure every one will? Furthermore, are you sure the ladies you used in your sales pitch are comfortably with you in you doing so?
Recently I picked up some sensitivity amongst our members and think your blog could stimulate conflict if our ladies would feel uncomfortable with you using their pictures and your own subjective description of them...
Maybe you did have their approval prior your posting, however...If not, this is exactly why my picture is not on site as I doubt how sensitive we are when dealing and in some cases even portray others... only asking ...
Why do you always have to see the negative...this guy went to fish waters where the fish were fighting... In the process for these fish getting 'air', they jumped 2 meters in the air with a shifting angle... Fishermen could easily catch them with bare hands and worst case scenario in a cloth for the more tough or scratchy ones...
They also went to an era where salt water and fresh water met (clue number two), which is a haven for plenty of fish, consequently also fish fighting as salt and fresh water fish do not like each other...
The reason for the silk pajamas was in case he got an accident and would end up in hospital... no one wants to be in only your underpants or with a fishy night gear in a hospital bed...would they...
Sorry, I heard a car in my street...ran out as you don't see people often on my side of the planet , got the poor people to stop...got their credentials ... no luck...All were females...so back again... A special welcome to Gladfly...
Yeah, blogging is great...for us who are not in relationships for now, blogging keeps us fit
Late / very early morning in SA... off to so, all my blogging partners ...sleep tight...Allow nice bed bugs yo bite ...
I don't think you have any need to worry. Although he wasn't interested at the time, there is something intriguing in your profile, making him to still view you. I would see this as a subtle compliment. Problem for me would only be if he would constantly contact you, sending mixed messages... I would ignore his views and would smile every time he peeks
@Ken ... I have an idea... in SA we have this farmer is looking for a wife series... The farmer advertise, applicants get invited to his farm and then there is an elimination process. Think you could consider doing the same ... Advertise...country boy is looking for lovely lady ... short list and take 20 applicants to your house... week 1...extreme of country living...no electricity, only fire and candles, week 2 (if any applicant is left )...nature and house guest orientation... surprises could include a couple of spiders and snakes... Then, the remainder (if any ), should be a candidate to keep...
Great to see you are still okay... could picture your trip and I really enjoyed the journey ... thank you...and, I think you would make an awesome story teller ...good luck with the miles to follow...have a safe trip.
Have a fabulous week all CS members...
Red ...safe the laughing muscles... I'll be back
