RE: Money, Money, Money

Wait till you get ill and need items to make life easier... Then your needs become more expensive than ever anticipated...moping

RE: Money, Money, Money

Nothing in my house goes wasted... I will not buy something unless it is not really needed. Food gets eaten and the last drop of shampoo will be used before I buy a new bottle... so, I suppose I am a bit stingy... but I know the value of having cash...

RE: Money, Money, Money

Mmm, bad planning wink ... I do everything only if I have cash to pay for it... no cash, then I go without what ever I wanted to buy... Will work my cute but off ... took me six months to pay off my house... but for years I stayed in small places to be able to buy that house...

RE: Flashback to 1958!!

Yeah, see this in a positive light... although you never had the opportunity to kiss her when you were younger... you did give her the opportunity to taste your saliva ...rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Visitation Dreams:

Hey Mic hug Yeah, this is an interesting but also dangerous question as it could touch on religion. I believe the deceased do have contact with us... but we are not well enough developed in the third dimension to 'see' them... Dreams in itself are manifestations of our fears, desires and realities... but one could not exclude the possibility that the deceased are 'present'... It happened to me also... but in a different way... I would smell my grandma and no one close to me would wear her perfume....I also heard my granny saying that I need to drive slower... only to find 30 seconds after that a car accident happening right in front of me.... My feeling... great... as I know granny is looking out for me and most probably will accompany me on my way between life and death...teddybear

RE: Dating: Now Vs The '90s

In the 90s we grabbed the interest we got as we believed it was all that was out there... These days it is difficult to commit (so many men...en little time)...access to social media makes us insecure as to if the fit is the best fit... and it puts us in a space of ...there are plenty more...sigh

RE: "LET IT ROLL"..("DOWN THE HIGHWAY")(5)

Do you want to hear a joke in reverse....?

Then laugh first...grin

RE: "LET IT ROLL"..("DOWN THE HIGHWAY")(5)

It's like the opening of new shops...wink we move around ...the older the blog... The less the attention wink bouquet

RE: Internal reaction

Yeah... If that happens to me... I take the egg beater and run around my house a couple of times... don't know if it makes me more calm... but it for sure makes me tired.grin

RE: "TIME WASHES CLEAN" ("BUT NOT THE MEMORY")

It is not the road we take that matters ... It is about the trip we undertake getting us to a safe place teddybear detective May THIS highway take you to something very special....hug

RE: "LET IT ROLL"..("DOWN THE HIGHWAY")(5)

True... bouquet as a couple of more blogs are due teddybear

RE: "TIME WASHES CLEAN" ("BUT NOT THE MEMORY")

Yeah, by trying to look for other reasons... you are only going to make yourself tired...hug

Obscure reasons could be that she is prisoner of drugs... not knowing what she is doing... or someone forcing her to do this to people that really wants something special... but really ... how valid can these reasons be and why would you get further involved.... just let it roll ...teddybear

RE: "LET IT ROLL"..("DOWN THE HIGHWAY")(5)

Hey Leony wave one long finger you have there wow ....

@ Nam... Our visit on earth is temporarily ... a home only makes the move between life and death so much harder... point is, no one on earth has homes, as earth is not our destiny ... We only have obligations.... teddybear May you have a safe trip...hug

RE: "TIME WASHES CLEAN" ("BUT NOT THE MEMORY")

You really want my honest opinion ? teddybear You were not the only one... she liked the attention with all the off line contact and she calculated how much she could get out of you... In the meantime ... she got someone else who gives more and now there is not enough time to maintain the contact with you, but also keeping the focus on the other prey... as easy as it is ... Cold hearted and cruel... nothing to understand ...selfish and egocentric and a dam good actress... easy as it is... great thing you are free from her... long run this could be a very expensive relationship ... good riddens and good luck to the other guy...guys... hug bouquet

RE: "TIME WASHES CLEAN" ("BUT NOT THE MEMORY")

The bad about 'dating' someone on the CS site is that the person you dated is still on the site... It is like in real life where people share a common group of friends. Don't think it is good for the soul... hope you get in a space where you can have freedom on this site without being constantly reminded of good and bad memories or peeking at her profile wondering if she made another one to bite the dust... good luck Nam in finding peace and freedom in your heart...teddybear

RE: Girls Talk About Guys’ Dating Profiles

And the best is yet to come... If you are tired of Shakespeare... you just cover the cage ... grin

RE: Girls Talk About Guys’ Dating Profiles

Tight pants, shirtless, six pack, leather boots, fancy sunglasses, in front of a fancy house and a grand car, and at least a masters qualification, no children and a sensitive profile (reflecting his need to love and to care for his princess)... would caught my eye...smitten no wonder I could not get anyone yet...moping

RE: Thoughts on the Oregon shooting

@ Ken...I fully agree and support. Sounds cruel, but the role of the family can't be under estimated. I believe there are many instances where parents and family know their children or family members are a risk for other members of society, but we protect them... by protecting them, we even motivate unwanted behaviour...

RE: "CREATION"..(4)

Again I couldn't sleep...

true reality in life...

doesn't matter how we want to twist it... We just need to accept it...

Addressing unhappiness ....

Sands wave good point... We keep the duplicate ...wink rolling on the floor laughing

Addressing unhappiness ....

Hey Itchy hug

Depression could be a typical monster, however depression is a complex issue and most often requires medical as well as life style changes with psychotherapy ... depending the cause and the severity thereof.... even with depression, if not taken care of with minor episodes, it can effect relationships, resulting in a spiral impact... that could have been 'easier' addressing/controlling in the beginning compared to later...

Monsters as within the context of my blog refers to any issue that started as small but spiralled out of control affecting different areas of our life's... Relationships, energy, health, self perception of our self worth...constructive, logical thinking processes...

Addressing unhappiness ....

Yeah teddybear ... think we tolerate a lot at times, because we do not want to admit we are human... many people also do not have an objective, sincere and trusted soundboard with makes reality checking sometimes very difficult, specifically if those people are in negative and dominating circumstances... point I want to make... temporarily ups and downs are part of life, but the moment it effects our well being (ability to sleep, eating patterns, energy to wake up and to look at life with positive expectations,... ), on an ongoing bases, it should be addressed because it will not disappear by itself... leave and tolerate that and it could become a monster.... bouquet

RE: Bali, friends, new journey

I am happy for you hug ... I think this opportunity could also create a bit of anxiety as it is all new for you... maybe make a list of critical anchors... such as support there and access to your family and so forth to ensure all your questions are answered and also to put you in a space to find your feet as soon as possible. Best of luck ... you go girl ... bouquet

Consumer rights...

Ah Pedal man... great if you can still visualise ... a man without an imagination is like a bicycle without pedals blushing....

Consumer rights...

You all were very kind... thank you for all the valid input and for the patience for me getting to the point...teddybear Yeah, I still love my mugs will keep them, but had an 3.49 USD lesson in not to look at the discount, but at the price on the item... bouquet

RE: "STRANGER IN PARADISE"

Paradise is "a place or state of great happiness where everything is exactly the way we want it to be..." So, finding our peace of paradise is tough ... but keeping it is way tougher ....teddybear

Consumer rights...

@ Sands... bowing ... eventually the answer I was looking for ...thank you. If it is about buyer aware, how can customers make themselves aware... what would be the benchmark to 'be happy' with a price if you don't buy that item everyday? Can we ask for the sales history on an item on sale, specifically if we want to purchase bigger items ... like a Pedals bicycle wink ...

Consumer rights...

Furthermore, the following aspect is consumer rights ... do we as a customer have the right then to ask for the current listed retail price and the history on a non consumable item that is on sale ... before we buy an item... but people who interpreted my query as buyers remorse wouldn't even think about this...doh

Consumer rights...

Candy ... one person who maybe see my point ... that is the plan, hence my need to confirm if there is value deprecation on non consumables and that the shop already got the tax benefit for a depreciated item but mislead me by the using the original retail vs. Sale price as bait... If not... I'll let go and enjoy my mugs wink Point is, seems most people just accept and never ask critical questions... Gee I feel like an alien on my own planet...frustrated

Consumer rights...

Lucky Man... I can't believe we have such naive people in this world... I am also very sorry to hear about your sufferings...hug ... It is not remorse... I will not die because I paid 3.49 USD more for my mugs... It is a PRINCIPLE... about misleading the public to sell your items... Does the owner have the right to sell his product at the price he wants too ... YES... but they do not have the right to mislead the public... No.... If these mugs were advertised only for the price I paid ... even more ... I would accept...but it was advertised for a R 40. 00 discount....

Then, it is not only about me... In SA 3.49 USD can buy 2 breads and one 2 litres of milk for a household... there are plenty people who buy based on the perceived discount they will get as they don't have access to other means to compare and to check if they will not get ribbed off... Every where we talk about the value we add, but we are so short sighted that you interpreted this email as buyers remorse and that for 3.49 USD ...doh COL
