I like cats and dogs but I can't stand their hairs...I can hardly breath when they're around me. My African Grey is very clever too ...can mimic so many words and sounds , walks around the house sometimes and can be easily trained to do some funny tricks. Pets are really fun to have around ...a part of the family.
I agree with Twazzle ... If you're happy go for it...someone who could be mistaken as your father would put you in an awkward situation most of the times tho...not to say the saggy skins and beer bellies....again, all up to you
