Seriously now. I'm trying to type up the petition and I need a real name. If you don't know what his real name was you can give me some facsimile of what you think it ought have been. Tume is of the essence
The forest fires from California and Montana have made the air hazy here. The setting sun the other night was a bright red orange color. Then a little while later a nearly full moon rose, not as brightly as the sun, but a huge orange orb hanging low in the sky.
Was a spectacular evening, celestially speaking. :)
Molly, must be a Taurus thing. I have rarely ever gotten away with lying. I gave up trying a long time ago.
But....I have been able to get away with a fib here and there.
Before I started practicing saying 'no' with no explanation attached, I'd make up excuses for canceling plans. I sometimes need to be alone for no solid reason and people don't seem to like to go with that. They want to not feel rejected. Now, I don't offer up excuses. I just say I changed my mind. "Today doesn't work for me. Can we reschedule for next week?" That kind of thing.
Well, that video caused quite a stir. However, the thing that made me laugh was that this person you are referring to, posted about three different comments on that blog, wherein she described the whole video in detail....over and over again.
The vid was removed but she rehashed in nicely, just in case anyone missed its graphic nature. Hahahaha
Doc, that is brilliant! Got me to thinking. If someone claims to never indulge in a lie, then could they ever watch a movie or read a book that was not strictly non-fiction?
What about as a kid playing cops and robbers or doctor and patient? Isn't that in the strictest sense also a lie?
To what degree is the truth an absolute?
I have fond memories of Santa and the Easter bunny and even the Tooth fairy. I'm glad my parents lied. Was so much more fun!

Let's all channel Simmo, shall we?
