@LucyMaud - Yes, a shame for me and Donald Sutherland. Thankfully, the only place the Great One would have influenced votes were already Tory blue. In Toronto, people that I know think of Wayne getting away with high-sticking Doug Gilmour and costing the Leafs a shot at the Cup.

Betareaders? Interesting term. I've had friends do this for years without hearing it called that. Good term, it totally makes sense.
I write myself, as well as teach and consult about writing, so much as I love the written word, I spend too much time reading already.
But getting feedback is a great idea. If you only ever hear about your work from industry people, it can sap your creative mojo. Best of luck, I hope your project goes well.
Sorry to hear about your mom but congrats on being free. I just got out of a marriage myself. It became an easy decision when I knew I'd be happier alone than I was being married.
