And to prove this point Christ continues on to say "and the two shall become one flesh" meaning two bodies become one body a true marriage of two flesh becoming one. "shall become" means overtime Then Christ further emphasizes his point of a pregnant woman by saying "so then they are no longer two, but one flesh" meaning in 9 months time there will be one flesh This is Christ's point of what Marriage means to Him For He is Speaking on Fathers Behalf so that also means Christ's message is Father's message spoken through Christ
Simply put Christ was saying Marriage means Pregnancy in Heaven Then Christ says "Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” ONLY Father can join two flesh and make one flesh through a child correct? let not man separate refers to a physical separation meaning divorce no? and to emphasize this Christ says Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. Saying whoever seeks abortion against his wife just to have a child with another woman commits adultery(murder) against her.
If this is not as logical and literal as I could possibly explain, then you are too intelligent and wise for me to simplify Christ's statement.
