RE: If the virus had a smell –

"On average, meteors can speed through the atmosphere at about 30,000 mph (48,280 kph) and reach temperatures of about 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit (1,648 degrees Celsius)"

"SARS virus, a close relative of the virus of COVID-19, is inactivated at temperatures of 56 to 65 degrees Celsius (132.8 to 149 degrees Fahrenheit)."

Seems unlikely alright, but yet we are here. dunno

RE: If the virus had a smell –

Red,
"anyways i reckon this virus changes it is a killer but not the same through out the world so vaccines will change just like they do with flu."

Where are you getting your information, you are absolutely right about viruses changing.

Some of these viruses are coming from Cosmic particles, like pea sized meteor fragments which are left after chunks of material enter the atmosphere. We know that they contain Virus like organisms. So, that little Meteor on your desk, bin it.

Another way for Viruses to get here is cosmic dust trapped in the air filters in returning spacecraft and space suits. Weren't the Chinese up there recently? hmmm

RE: If the virus had a smell –

A lot of overlapping!

RE: If the virus had a smell –

Ok, I guess I took too long writing my post, You can ignore it now. laugh

RE: HR 6666

Apart from the name of the bill, the 'purpose' of the bill is to legally collect DNA. How else can this be done on a global scale? I think they should take your photograph at the same time. I suppose there are other ways of getting your fingerprints. They probably have a form to be completed, watch out for questions like mothers maiden name, previous address, what countries have you visited etc. etc.
They have already begun here with the new 'Social Services' card, which is controversial. Nobody knows what will be added in to that. It's being promoted as having all your necessary services in one place. They need to have solid information about everyone for the chips they are going to implant. It's for our own good. laugh

RE: Possibly spending some much needed time with K!

Drove on the right.

RE: Possibly spending some much needed time with K!

I thought all European mainland countries drove on the left and used dots to separate thousands and commas before decimals. e.g. €20.000.000,00 = €20 million and zero cent. No? I thought your post was ok.
I'm still learning!

RE: I've never had any desire to talk about religion or politics

I kept it cryptic on purpose, stance was the clue. I play a bit of golf, also keep up to date on the premiership, but I couldn't take part in a conversation about football.
I know nothing about Politics or Religion, spent half my life coding and that saps your entire thought process.

RE: I've never had any desire to talk about religion or politics

What's your stance on Sport?

RE: Every Home Should Have One

Reminded me of the film 'Narcos'.

which reminded me:

In 'Surviving Escobar' the suppliers used Pizza boxes, Crimbos here copied them recently due to Lockdown, but got caught. Nobody seems to get the connection.

RE: Name ONE positive that has come out of the stay at home.

It has restored my faith in our Government for keeping us informed and protected. smile

RE: disinfect the body....possible?

Trump might just have been right, except he got the type of drink wrong, you don't need bleach, just soapy water and that won't kill you. The soap melts the skin of the Virus and kills them. professor

RE: Want/need

Women need Oxygen, and want a man. This makes sense to me. Same for Men?

RE: I've Not Seen Merc Here Lately - (aka "A Prior Chatting Blog")

Sounds like a plan, meanwhile I have to go out and get some beer and popcorn. cool

RE: I've Not Seen Merc Here Lately - (aka "A Prior Chatting Blog")

RE: I've Not Seen Merc Here Lately - (aka "A Prior Chatting Blog")

I hope she has a joystick, otherwise it won't work for her, but let's see what she comes up with. thumbs up

RE: I've Not Seen Merc Here Lately - (aka "A Prior Chatting Blog")

I think this one is to be used with a joystick, not a mouse, sorry!

RE: I've Not Seen Merc Here Lately - (aka "A Prior Chatting Blog")

Well you've ordered it now, so the best thing to do is try it out and let us know, voila!

RE: I've Not Seen Merc Here Lately - (aka "A Prior Chatting Blog")

Difficult to explain, easier to demonstrate. innocent

RE: I've Not Seen Merc Here Lately - (aka "A Prior Chatting Blog")

That thing you ordered is a mouse mat, it keeps your wrist steady, haven't seen it used like that before though. thumbs up

RE: Lucifer

This is not a response. I need clarification from the readers first.

Ok, the blogger posts a photo of a man who I presume is Lucifer because the caption over it says Lucifer.
I actually didn't think such a person existed, usually bloggers put their own photo up there. I am now inclined to think that maybe there is such a person, the photo is very convincing.

Ah heck, disregard my opening statement.

My answer is YES. thumbs up

RE: 'Not everyone......

Cat to photographer :- "WAIT FOR ME"

RE: Money: Makes the world go square!

Exactly, that's why I don't buy lottery tickets, I would not like to win a million. I believe it would cause to many problems.

RE: Money: Makes the world go square!

True words, once I have enough to live I'm happy, what's the point in looking for more than you need.

RE: Working from home,

It wouldn't be the first time that a controversial piece of film was allowed to get through by an editing crew. That's what the time delay is supposed to be used for. I'd say it was deliberately done to catch the guy. One of the crew saw an opportunity and took it.

RE: Mr. Wilson Comes to Tea

I wouldn't know about that, and I'm not going there either, I'm a peace loving guy. tip hat

RE: Mr. Wilson Comes to Tea

It's no biggie to me what people say or do, just passing on information, it's up to you what you do with it.

I'm glad there aren't thought police out there, yet. laugh

RE: Describe your muse?

I don't kowtow to anybody but I admire exceptionally good work, so it's the product of the labour that is significant to me.
If you admire some people that means that you have a pecking order which would include people at the top of your contrived list but also people at the bottom, I see people as being equal. Their deeds can be judged and define their character which you may like or dislike.
