It seems a small price to pay to keep one's country covid-free.
Two weeks(as we do here) in managed isolation(not a prison, but a 5 star hotel) is hardly doing it "tough".
We have enjoyed freedom here in NZ for many months aside from a couple of minor outbreaks which were cleared up without too much fuss. We have no restrictions(no face masks or social distancing and operate normally as a nation) due to our border requirements.
Whaddya mean mate? Are you makin' fun at my kiwi lingo? Christchurch was a pretty city, pre the 2011 earthquake. It's still recovering. I have never lived there, but have heard of Merivale suburb. I lived in Seeeeeedney for a few years, from Narrabeen, Harbord(spent a fair amount of time at Harbord Diggers), Manly and also lived in Brisbane for a time. I visited Melbourne when over there. It reminded me of home. Plenty of green belts.
I lived in Glebe Point Rd, just down from John St when I worked at Max Factor(when it was based there). On one side of us was the pub and the other a drug rehabilitation centre. We’d have many who lost their way, knocking on our door or passed out on the front lawn in the morning. It wasn’t flash, but we enjoyed the night life there in the road. Plenty of restaurants and theatres for entertainment.
I was in the middle of a fitness craze pre lockdown. Had been going to the gym for 6 months as well as my usual daily walks. All of that came to a screeching halt with lockdown, when the gym closed.
As long as I don’t have any choccie in the house, I can handle all other temptations. I don’t want to undo all my hard work, as much as I’d love to indulge
RE: Running at marathon pace
