This blog is purely about speculation, and nothing to do with reality. Deciding what you want the truth to be, then looking round for evidence to support it is going about things completely the wrong way.
That's nowhere near enough bears to cover my nay saying, and that's before we even get started on the doubt. Nay, not even enough to scratch the surface.
It may be possible, and it may be impossible, but that only matters after we have been given a reason to think that Earth has ever been visited by intelligent beings. I'm still waiting for a reason to think it.
Possible, I can accept, although I think it unlikely. Which means that if I knew of anything to suggest it might have happened, it would make me consider the possibility. As it is, I do not know of anything to suggest it might have happened. I know there are videos and photographs and no doubt loads of reading material containing "convincing facts", but I haven't seen anything to make me think there might be something to the idea.
The books you mention are science fiction, regardless of what they claim to be. If you genuinely want to inform yourself about the origins of life on this planet, read someone like Richard Dawkins, he's a proper professor. Look, this idea of ancient astronauts obviously has great appeal to you, and you want it to be true to the extent that you've convinced yourself it is true. Well that's your business, but if you announce it publicly, as you have here, you should expect to be challenged on it, and I don't think you have any right to feel badly done to when you are challenged. I'm just telling you why I think you are wrong. If you only want opinions that completely agree with you, you should have said that, instead of asking for "intelligent thinking".
Our own ambitions and desires are down to us, ourselves, jenny, shouldn't the part of life that involves God be about what we do for others. A God that grants you the ability to play great chess is no different than having a genie out of a magic lamp.
RE: ANCIENT ASTRONAUT THEORIES
And I know every one of them by name.
