I do not think that is about being or not friendly. They do economy of everything. Words, gestures, smiles, money, time... This is coming from the past, from the history. They have also humor .... but first you need to talk to them .... But I cannot say that germans are not friendly. I have not this feeling.

Hi Daniela, I see .... When I was 30 I had a girlfriend. We walked in winter with her dog to the woods. When was too cold in the snow we climbed into the trees and dried our socks.
There is a psychosomatic relation between walking and thinking. When one moves fast the mind starts to accelerate. When one move slow the opposite. Imagine what is in the mind of the people who do shopping? Who tried to observe this? For calm down one need to breath slow and deep. For meditation one need to sit still. I am saying that virtual sites are a source of information. When you are realistic and search around your location then you may find someone, and you may have a date. But if you start to have a heavy email exchange then is all clear. You may meet a person here. You introduce yourself and you agree a date. If this is not working ... and you start to write message and message .... then is a lose of time. You made the decision in the real life not based on virtual information and virtual reality. You need to go into the real life as fast you can.
I love positive thinking too. But this is an atitude and not a solution .....
To find the solution you need to use your brain .... To work, to be informed, to put everything together ... and then the solution will rise ... May be you think that you are communicating with the person ... but in fact each of you is projecting in own mind a false image about what happens between you. You write something ... and the other understands something else And no mechanism is available to adjust this. If you tuch some sensitive point then the other may take it personally and runs away.

I was convinced that I will never have on other chance to return. Every morning I went to the church when nobody was there and cryied. Long 5 years. But never give up.
