Spontaneity is a form of relationship. Love is a form of relationship.
But a relationship is not necessary spontaneous or ... love.

Confusion

Hello again.

People do not have enough information to know the reality. This is confusing. We try to establish a order in this confusion. And without information the only thing we may do is to create our own order and reality. This is a fiction. A creation of our own mind. So we all are this situation. And we all have our own reality. Our own fictional movie.
If we take much too in serious our fictional story about reality we may not be able to communicate with others - they do the same - take much too in serious their own fictional story.

I remember what Krishnamurti said. "Order from disorder" Do not intervene in the disorder and try to create order. This is the paradoxical nature of the mind. The more you try to make order there, you will create more disorder.

Let your mind simply in peace and order will rise from disorder.

From the mathematical statistics we know that all what we consider disorder (random) have the same probability to be order (not random). So what we consider to be order is the result of our subjectivity.

When you try to make order in your mind, you have no ideea ho should look this in your mind. The probability that you try to create a false order in your mind is very high. So do not force your order to anyone nor to yourself. You prpbably are wrong.

This is the reason why each ideology fails. May represent order for the creator of the ideology but for other people is a form of disorder.

Paradoxical is also to search for love. Love has the property to be spontaneous. When you search is not anymore spontaneous. You will find something ... but will be not love. laugh

Once one understand the pardoxical nature of the mind, not verbaly, but practical, then one will be really free

So be careful of paradoxical requests. This creates confusion.
"I wish that you love me." "Please give me flowers" You may expres your wish but you destroy the sspontaneity.

This is the reason love has no expectations. Expectations are good for a relationship but never for love.

You have to choose one of two.

“It is not uncommon for people to spend their whole life waiting to start living.”

Hello everyone .... and Good Morning.

May we speak different languages ... but we understand the same. Our past, our limits make us different, but once understood our limits and our differences, and when we exclude those, what remains is what we have in common and uny us. This is closer to truth or reality. And if you want .. to God.handshake

“It is not uncommon for people to spend their whole life waiting to start living.”

Als ich 24 Jahre alt war.laugh I still remember.

“It is not uncommon for people to spend their whole life waiting to start living.”

Yes Daniela... With 24 someone explained me.

"Love is a matter of preference. One love everybody, the whole world or humanity, but preferes to live his life with one person. May happen or may not. No jealousy nor envy nor desire is in this. Is only a preference and acceptance of what will happen. "

“It is not uncommon for people to spend their whole life waiting to start living.”

Daniela ... for you handshake:

“All negativity is caused by an accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present. Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, worry - all forms of fear - are caused by too much future, and not enough presence. Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of nonforgiveness are caused by too much past, and not enough presence.”

RE: For those seeking love here or elsewhere

"I love you not for whom you are,
but who I am when I'm by your side."

This is progress. Spiritual progress. This is an experience of inward transformation when being together. But .... we are imperfect and this moment does not survive ... becomes a relationship in the sense of a daily routine ... and then you have to .......

RE: Hmmm...married people, just how happy are they?

Johnny sorry,
What is your experience in a relationship? May I ask?
Measured in years.

RE: Hmmm...married people, just how happy are they?

I do not consider that living longer is more interesting than living intense ...
... one may be connected to the machines ....

RE: Hmmm...married people, just how happy are they?

I understand the word. But I do not understand how you use it in that context. Can you be more precise?
I wish to know how often I choose wrong.

RE: Hmmm...married people, just how happy are they?

molly dear, what is mediocre?

RE: Hmmm...married people, just how happy are they?

When people try to be very close they end to be very distant.

RE: How can you understand people's mind?

The points you underline may be true up to a certain level ... next you canot apply this anymore.
Personality is much complex. But I would agree somehow with what you wrote.

About lies? I will lie you looking in your eyes. And making a joke.
I would comment on all your points .... but takes too much time.

Have you heard about SEO?
"Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web ..."

Not all articles in internet have value. Some of those are published to increase the visibility of a web page.
If you really want to study or learn about something then you have to go to the source .... academic research.
You may find ths in internet too. Not so difficult.

Kal,
can you confirm? Is the research realistic?

The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves.

It is a web site of a researcher who was hired many years ago by South Korean Government to find out what is wrong in their arilines. In one year many flights crashed without a reason. This reseracher find out that is a communication issue between the pilots and the cause was the national cultural environment. The obedience to the authority even when the authority is wrong.

He solved the problem. Since then the researcher and his team evaluate periodic all cultures in almost all countries.

Perhaps one very key phrase in Indonesia that describes how this works is “Asal Bapak Senang” (Keep the Boss Happy). The reason is multifold; but if you extrapolate to UAI dimension you can see that keeping the boss happy means you will be rewarded and if you are rewarded you have no economic or status uncertainty as you will keep being a valuable member of the company.

LONG TERM ORIENTATION

This dimension describes how every society has to maintain some links with its own past while dealing with the challenges of the present and future, and societies prioritise these two existential goals differently. Normative societies. which score low on this dimension, for example, prefer to maintain time-honoured traditions and norms while viewing societal change with suspicion. Those with a culture which scores high, on the other hand, take a more pragmatic approach: they encourage thrift and efforts in modern education as a way to prepare for the future.

Indonesia’s high score of 62 indicates that it has a pragmatic culture. In societies with a pragmatic orientation, people believe that truth depends very much on situation, context and time. They show an ability to adapt traditions easily to changed conditions, a strong propensity to save and invest, thriftiness, and perseverance in achieving results.

INDULGENCE

One challenge that confronts humanity, now and in the past, is the degree to which small children are socialized. Without socialization we do not become “human”. This dimension is defined as the extent to which people try to control their desires and impulses, based on the way they were raised. Relatively weak control is called “Indulgence” and relatively strong control is called “Restraint”. Cultures can, therefore, be described as Indulgent or Restrained.

The low score of 38 in this dimension shows that Indonesia has a culture of Restraint. Societies with a low score in this dimension have a tendency to cynicism and pessimism. Also, in contrast to Indulgent societies, Restrained societies do not put much emphasis on leisure time and control the gratification of their desires. People with this orientation have the perception that their actions are Restrained by social norms and feel that indulging themselves is somewhat wrong.

Miclee,

"the reign of God is within you.'

I understand what you mean. I had a discussion about this with a christian theologian. And he sent me to read about pantheism.

Pantheism is the belief that all reality is identical with divinity, or that everything composes an all-encompassing, immanent god. Pantheists do not believe in a distinct personal or anthropomorphic god and hold a broad range of doctrines differing with regards to the forms of and relationships between divinity and reality.

Pantheism was popularized in Western culture as a theology and philosophy based on the work of the 17th-century philosopher Baruch Spinoza,:p.7 particularly his book Ethics, published in 1677. The term "pantheism" was coined by Joseph Raphson in 1697 and has since been used to describe the beliefs of a variety of people and organizations.

Pantheistic concepts date back thousands of years, and pantheistic elements have been identified in branches of Eastern religions such as Hinduism.

The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves.

No. I do not want to generalize. And I do not mean that some people are more clever than other.

It is because of the translation. There are words which cannot be translated in western languages.

Is a different culture, different way of thinking. Many practical obstacles which lead to misunderstanding.
Western people are educated to act, to fight. In eastern they are educated to have patience and accept.

Of course if one is dedicating time and has affinity may understand. Everything can be understood in the end.

My personal experience says the western people need a very good translator. And there are some.
Else you may start to put in practice what you read in wrong way ...and you will need to visit the doctor. I have seen cases.

The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves.

For a Western mind it is not easy to understand all those teachings.laugh

My grandfather was a Christian priest.

My whole family was disappointed when I came one day at home and said.
"for me is more clear what eastern teacher say than all this complicated christian books and rituals."

Everyone goes his way ... follows his nature. This should be respected.

The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves.
