Brits make me giggle. I can't help it.... the cultural barrier that is the Atlantic makes for strange and amusing differences in candor and life style. But be proud: you silly talking "blokes" are (depending on the mood) the spice of life!
Ahh the uniform... something I have yet to earn, but I am looking forward to immensely. The first of three milestones I need to achieve in my military career. The first is to earn my uniform after boot camp; the second is to earn my "dolphin" pin after submarine training school; the third is to earn a new uniform after officer boot camp.
I can't answer that question for you... but I will say that during the period when I allowed people to rate my photos... I got half a dozen "10's" from women from the UK (Ireland or otherwise).
So I cannot offer a answer to your query I can at least relate to it.
Can I just point out how bad going back to square one on the dating scene is? It is like I have to emotionally psyche myself up all over again so that I appear confident (and thus... desirable).
A toast to good luck and the hopes that I will get some (luck).
And another good pointer is to not get your hopes up too much if it does not pan out. I went through an unfortunate "down" when a girl I met over the internet didn't have time for me anymore.
Actually, now that I reread what you said... you weren't saying you think I think God is a wrathful hell banisher... lol. My mistake. I thought you were agreeing with the cowboy there.
Now that's a sad way of thinking... Crutch? More like sports car... There is freedom in peace, my friend. And frankly, I didn't know people needed to "learn" that there is no God just because its trendy to think that way nowadays. Lion comment aside (cuz really... I'm a punk, but I don't really get mad at people)... you don't have to believe in God, and you can think I'm crazy or primitive or whatever... but in my world there's a God and a purpose. I'll take my "crazy world" over yours any day of the week.
Well, here is my hope... I hope that the reason you don't believe in God is not what the people of the church you used to belong to said or did. Whether or not you believe in God, I'm sure you at least understand the concept that people don't define God by their actions... it was sorta supposed to be the other way around. I'm fully committed to the original intent of Christianity... following a peaceful and benevolent God who is not flawed, evil, or human (so he would never act like one).
Hey hey, whoa now, partner. The Terminator does his job juuuuuuust fine. He's supposed to kill and/or protect John Connor. That's about it. No one can argue he didn't do his best to do those things.
Oh no no no no no.... don't get me wrong. I'm not sticking up for "the church". It is just that many people have a hard time differentiating "the church" from God. And from the rest of the bumper stickers on this lady's car... I knew she was just bashing God and anyone who believes in him (not just the church). I am also sorta one of those free spirited types who does not love the conventional church.
Interesting angles presented... particularly by the fellow from Scotland.
Being a desirable man to a bunch of strangers is a delicate balance of confidence and humility for me. I want the ladies to know there's nothing wrong with me and that I know I can be desirable without being narcissistic. That being said... I would much rather a girl who was interested send me a message than give me a 10. The picture ratings don't help me much with that, I guess. They only confuse me.
I love the English by this man from Sicilia. I'm not making fun of you, though. Your English is probably better than my Italian. I took an Italian speaking class for 4 years and have since forgotten almost everything.
Rock on, man. If anything, this seems like a tighter-knit (and someone more manageable) community than "facebook". Aside from the obvious "trying to get a date" that most use this site for.. its almost like a "facebook" for total strangers.
I guess the big debate boils down to... what government does this poem oppose? I guess anyone can complain about people with a different political agenda than their own, it just boils down to which side you're on.
To add further confusion to your question (which, I know, is not the point), Christianity teaches that the followers of Christ can walk in his footsteps and prophecy (hence... there would be no definite "last" prophet).
I want to take one home...
Ah, forgive my ignorance... I said "UK" in the beginning, didn't I? The UK is only Great Britain and Northern Ireland, no?
