Maybe even a tutor might help?? dunno christmas cool

RE: "Home" away from 'home'..

Hi AJ, its not easy to answer, as there are many could be many reasons, e.g. things not working out how you foresaw when you initially left; or that you have not yet settled down with someone & started a family.. dunno I'd maybe give it a bit of time to re-evaluate where you would like to see yourself going and then, hopefully achieve it.. No matter what, keep hold of your hat.. cheers

RE: where are the girls?!

cheers No problem Bain, though remember she is young, but am pretty sure will learn fast.. though I wouldn't say she is putting men down, we are just not for her.. sigh wink And Neuro, if you really, really feel that way, its amazing what surgery can accomplish!! rolling on the floor laughing Have a great weekend.. beer

RE: where are the girls?!

Sorry Mr Blain, but she has just as much right to be here as anyone else, no matter what her preference is...and you must be aware that all the females on here usually receive all types of contact from men on a daily basis, without reading the persons profile first either, and as you point out, there are many who get annoyed in not finding what they seek sooner and they often say they will leave, or at times refer to suicidal feelings, which is sad to see.. I do agree that there may be sites that offer her more choice and would certainly advise not to only use this place alone as looking around your own town can often be best for some.. Good luck Emi.. cool

RE: So In Pain ..

Hi Swan, You will be fine and not sure if you wish to but there is a self-diagnosis option on the UK's NHS, Though your doctor knows best and the results will show the way to making you well again.. Take Care.. teddybear cool

Welcome to CS anyway as there are loads of good folk here... cool

RE: You can't handle the truth...

Hi Giovy & Yes, for when all is said and done, the truth is all that is left.. though the only one I am not keen on is the 3rd last one.. Maybe because I am named after a Saint.. innocent grin

Also found the4 following:
Pure truth, like pure gold, has been found unfit for circulation because men have discovered that it is far more convenient to adulterate the truth than to refine themselves.
- Charles Caleb Colton

But just had to include this:
cool

RE: Compact sport

Very good advice, however if one can afford them do try Leica as the quality of the glass is outstanding & one of the best for wildlife wave Maybe one day I will own a pair.. daydream

RE: HEY FRIENDS (^_*)

Nobody should change anything as that is what makes each of us unique.. banana The only exceptions would be if we want to change something about ourselves or if it is recommended for our overall well being.. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday Swan.. beer

RE: Photography By Yours Truely

Hi Turtle, Welcome to CS & nice to see your photos. I like the hobby myself, though not done anything serious in a while.. blues Anyway, hope you don;t mind but thought I'd give you some feedback on them, though I am no expert:

Goodspirit - There is nothing really to catch the eye here & seems a pretty flat day, (ideal for flowers with soft even lighting), though you could try making it B+W, something/someone on the path would have added more interest..

Smalltown: I find the central tree too dark, though printing it as a negative may make a difference & possibly crop a bit of the bottom..

Subject: Nice shot, but I'd definitely crop it just below the '23' as I find the jeans & field a distraction.. Not sure what relevance the basketball has, but otherwise its good.

Family: Really nice shot & wouldn't change it, though maybe try same thing with oval shape.. Also, Tiff, this is a Sepia effect & am pretty sure most photo edit tools, (Photoshop, etc), provide this & even go further with scratches added also.. Even a lot cameras & phones have it as an instant option also.

Youth Portrait: This is my favourite it is perfect as it captures that 1920/30's feel perfectly.

Flowers 1: Lovely photo, but I'd crop the sides off as the other stems & flower in background on the right lead my eye away & think this would make a bigger impact.

Flowers 2: It is nice, but could impact more by cropping away the black background on the left & top.

Flowers 3: Another lovely shot & idea with the coloured flowers is a great touch, but I think you have done too many. I'd suggest you try it only with the 3 central buds & maybe also try cropping in closer to them.

Hunting Buddies: Good photo, but taken near mid-day as light is a bit harsh & coming onto the wrong side of the dogs.. Best time for portraits is early morning or late evening, which I'm sure you know, though nothing says you can't break the rules.

Abstract Fire: Really cool effect & I wouldn't change it, it just Works!! Only improvement would be in getting the cat to look at the lens, but is far easier said than done!!

Blue Bird: Another cracking photo, though I'd like to see it enlarged a bit more & also crop the top & bottom away as it distracts the eye, and if you can, maybe try using the Blur tool on the trees behind to further emphasis speed, but don;t go overboard as it will not look natural..

Thank you again for sharing them & I might get back into it myself after September.. thumbs up wave

RE: cowboy

Ah, Dreams,, Cranberries..

Good luck CowBoy.. beer

RE: What is "love".."true meaning" of love............

Love needs no explanation, as when it happens, one knows!! yay But, (yes, there is always a but wink ), whether one can make it happen is an entirely different matter as we each have our preferences as well as life throwing up other unforeseen obstacles.. blues Though one is ever hopeful in this life!! peace

RE: I have temporarily lost my Mojo

Hi Drea, I do not think we lose that creative spark, we just have other things in our lives that take up our concentration.. To re-light that spark, I'd go back to what makes you not only happy but also inspires you, be it art, poetry, music, nature, or a combination of things... Am sure you will bounce back soon.. hug

RE: zero

He also made a cracking save in the 2nd half!! We all make errors, but learn from them, I hope.. uh oh thumbs up beer

RE: I want a Swedish boyfriend for me. That's why I'm

Good luck, but watch out for the Chef's!! uh oh grin

RE: All women are the same, everywhere!

Dondadda, I'm not sure how long you have been here, but you are not the first man to query this.. First off, women receive far more mail than men do, and due to that, it can take a while for them to read and respond to them. As to why they do not respond, to put it simply, they do not find you attractive. The reason for not replying is that many did initially respond to men saying they were not interested, however, this resulted in them then receiving abusive messages, and because of these low-life's, women, quite understandably, keep there distance with those the are not interested in (remember, lots will log-off site to read your profile, so you have no real knowledge who is viewing you). The only exceptions would be those they know more about on the forums... As for Smitten, you should read her profile, for she has already met someone.. wine And no, it is not me, though I have also met someone here.. so do not lose hope, but you do have to learn to not expect a reply from every message you send and try not to take it personally.. Have a great week.. beer

RE: What a bad habit...!

One word Joury, Wonderful... cool

RE: Osteoarthritis

Along with the other advice you received, you can view the following information leaflet by which is:

RE: Lets not forget the meaning of Memorial Day

Very good post Drea, though for the UK it is the 70th Anniversary of the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from Dunkirk in 1940, where over 100 small boats were used to save 338'000 lives were saved, French & British... I salute them all head banger For more details see: thumbs up

RE: Another Sleepless NIght...

Are you sure you're not in Seattle or is Mumbai it's twin?? dunno
Anyway, be positive, for day-dreaming is far better as we are in control of those and can vary them between as to what takes our mood, however the sleeping ones, well, sometimes what begins a dream can turn into a nightmare shock Mind you, is that the subconscious giving a sign of your current stage in life dunno Getting too deep now, but maybe sleep on it for now wink
