To quote a friend of mine, he said "a fruit fly can smell a fruit from over a km away - how good is its senses must be?"On my own personal level, I have had lots of animals on my property; horses, geese, ducks, turkeys, chicken, guinea fowl, hamsters, dogs, cats and maybe over 50 species of birds! They are certainly more evolved in certain ways; I've definitely noticed,and over time we built a certain rapport with one another.
So much so that we never ever did eat a single chicken/duck/goose or turkey!
