Rumors....

Today i heard a rumor about me i didn't even know

Good thing for me is i have a very thick skin and a crazy sense of humor

Not much bothers me.

I always wonder why people spread rumors? Is it not enough to do with too much time? Or too much to do with not enough time?

As Jodi Picoult says:

One absolutely foolproof way to quit people spreading rumors about you is not to give them any attention whatsoever. When someone asks you if "is it true?", just reply that you "don't have time to answer absurd and unfounded statements from absurd individuals". People have a sixth sense for knowing people who just don't care so try to put yourself in that category.

rumour is the easiest way of manipulation, the reason is - make you feel guilty, scared, angry, miserable...

Dear Sweet. People just love to perpetuate rumours about me too. I have learned to live with it. In fact now I kind of revel in it. The way I see it, its better to be talked about than not and if people are inclined to spend their time gossiping about you, well, you must be a pretty interesting person and it is really just a reflection of their jealousy surrounding your intersting life.
