Hospitals have been closing around the country or being consolidated and bought up by big monopolies. ( Sutter etc ) I come accross many people now that just recently dropped their health insurance because they had to ...and guess what's gonna happen Ttom ? Yup- because no one will fix ( regulate ) the healhcare system -we're gonna pay for them. One tahoe school has closed , and the others being rebuilt with a new assessment that teachers lobbied for years to get through ( millions more out of our pockets ) Did they ( teachers and administration ) chip-in and cut back ........Hell No ! Business as usual for state paid employees .....or any local state or fed people If government doesn't start regulating these agencies - we're gonna get assessed and taxed right out of our homes !
And some beleive the fabricated stories that hospitals are going broke because of all the hispanics and poor using the emergency rooms.................
While it's true that many aren't collected from - the hospitals get to write it off of all the other millions they make on CT scans, surgery, beds, supplies, nursing, etc etc etc etc And the real reason they're going broke is because they have HUGE top-heavy administrations and managerial staffing that makes just opening the doors expensive. They have simply priced themselves outta business - because they've NEVER been regulated and now we can't afford them... And, the School systems are the same .....HUGE administrations with dramatically overpaid executives driving new Corvettes and staying in hotel penhouse suites for their constant seminars. Then add teachers extraordinary pay and benifits because they are unionized and nobody can touch em ......
