Why I came here?

I was getting divorced and had moved into my own house. I wanted to have a social life but not quite a social life

Now I'm divorced and live in a small, rural town.

My CS friends are still my social life until a wonderful, college-educated, witty farmer finds me and sweeps me off my feet!

Fat chance that will happen!

But it's all good

I don't believe I fall in love more deeply, now that I am older.

I give more thought to the odds of continuing to love.

At this age, I think more about "long term" relationships instead of thinking about temporary fun & games like I used to when I was in my twenties.

When I moved out of my last relationship, there were nine cats there, technically only five of them were mine.

I left my five there because it was their home and my ex was glad to keep them.

Now he has acquired one more stray.

It makes him the weird guy with ten cats....

Imagine what 30 cats will make you ;(

Trust...well, I'd rather say that I think I know them in a pretty personal way.

I've been here forever, so my list has over 20 people. I hope that they feel that they know me too.

If they were passing through my town, I would be glad if they would call and stop in.
