What I am giving you ...is how experts in analysising military conflicts anaylsis a conflict. People that are in the Strategic Security Institute (SSI) group for instance. This group is a DoD think tank group at our War College. Or in Stratfor, the world's best public intell gathering group.

I read these guys and correspond with them. Submitted theory and research papers for publication to them.

What I am saying....making a cutisie and saying 300
died in Gaza on a Israeli military operation....is insuffiecant to understanding the core issues and the principle solutions.

You can blog like that for years ....and all you have is collection of smorgassborg geo political propoganda of personal opinions.

For more....check these sites out. They all have archive databases.
Dig in find out what this is really about. Y'all have allot of homework to do.

These are serious western thinkers on these security issues of the day. If you going to run with the big dogs, then get off the porch.....bring your sad flowers and your accusations to them for publication and peer review. See how far they get. They will laugh you out the correspondence. Or give them some thing new to chew on and earn their respect.

It use to be the shoe was on the other foot, Dude. That the DEMs made the stronger argument here. But when they embraced illegal aliens...some 12m...that are in the country to receive benefits and advantages. It becomes a REP and TEA party issue.

Wealth redistribution in itself is unfair and inequitible. Miz here, does not want a hand out....she wants a hand up. She does not need to be in
the top 1% of the earners of the country, but she needs to have a economic benefit package available to her if there is a lose of job or a financial crisis.

Wealth redistribution does not solve these basic problems. It simply "spreads the wealth" rather directing the budgeted funds to the Americans that need it.

This is what happens when the regulation of benefits are written in manner that favor of a race or culture. But this is exactly were the concept of fairness, equity, equality under the law should the apply.

What has happened to the American benefit programs over the years has been that minority races and cultures have been able to apply and be approved at a greater rates that majority population of whites.

It should stop.

We also have 100s of persons scamming the system. What happens is funds get depleted when real needs are occurring to Americans of all races and cultures.

DEM seldom address this problem. Oh, they will close down a scammers organization, at the same time allowing 100s illegal aliens to use fake social security cards to apply.

But if you are going to get a fair and equitable benefit program package in the country.....you have to some fair standards of who qualifies and who does not. Allowing 1000s of illegal alien to qualify for our benefit programs, while hurting Americans goes into debt or
proverty, is unjust.

But shifting topics here before I get into much trouble....

They opened a small bottle from the Civil war period. That had coded note and bullet in it. The bottle was part of the collection at the Museum of the Confederacy. It has been undisturbed at the Museum since 1896.

If any American today was to face the same deprivations and same risk of life....as faced by the Vickburg's defenders....they would hardly call our present condition a "mess or a debacle" even. It was a cruel injustice that befell the people at Vicksburg. Caught in the swirl war from all sides, they died by the 100s to violence, disease and starvation.

For how many of us missed a holiday meal? Or considered skinning a rodent a great pleasure for our next plate? They would laugh at our petty complaints to having a gallon gas price climb....or to having tar balls wash up on the Gulf Shore....they would smirk if told a underwater bomber had attempted to bring down a airliner over Detroit....if these were their biggest issues of the day...they would have gladly changed theirs for ours.

But I suspect few of us would make the trade. I know I would not.

In this sense, we have become less than the Americans of that time. We might shout about the TSA patdown issue.....but when your clothes are flithy rags facing a patdown is more a issue for the searcher. The Union soldiers had to search them after the surrender....on July 4th.

The American Civil war was truly a bitter time in American history. We gransidize it in reenactments, movies and books. But to the defenders of Vicksburg, it was a utterly hopeless situation that they endured for
7 weeks in 1863.

Hey Dude ...just out of curousity...how is that global warming theory coming Europe right now? We are about to get hit with a major snow storm along the east coast. So seems that theory has some holes in it.

With any luck it will keep Air Force One from landing and bringing President Obama back to Washington from his Hawii vacation. With Joe Biden doing what Joe Biden does.....it means John Bohner can be soon running the government.

I am wishing the newly engaged all the best and hoping that Mr. Hefner does not fall asleep during the wedding service, the wedding celebration or the first night of marriage. Crystal must be quiet a woman to capture Hugh's run away heart at this point in life.

How she will do in the playboy mansion.....with 30 other attractive female all biding for Hugh attention and affection.....remains to be seen.
But give Hugh some credit here.....when Crystal was one, he was 61....so there is only a 6 decade difference in their ages.

We could have let Communist China and North Korea have all of Korea......that is basically what you are saying yes? Basically you want the US to back all conflicts around the world with any liberal/socialist ideology driven country.

Afghanistan is a 'necessary war'....because if anyone is further right than neo conservative REP.....it is the Taliban. But have the US engage some socialist country....like North Korea North, Vet Nam, Grenada (e.g. Cuba)...suddenly it become a stupid war.

They had soldiers that shelled the SKorea island, on North Korean TV....they got angry....after they saw...South Korea artillery falling into their waters. So........decided shell the South Korean island.

People die all the time SB. All 8b of us have a time elapse sticker to our human on earth life time. For one reason or another.

But it seems to me that if 10% of this has been in high intensity conflict....that means that 90% has not. So seems Israel is showing a great deal of restraint. With the large military, as you have noted.....
they could obvious make this into daily blood baths in GAZA or West Bank. But that would incite the rest of the international community (e.g. world) against them.

While you are claiming because of this 10% the world should or is...incited....the evidence to that with some fringe groups that do flottila aid programs, draft some resolutions for the UN. And of course Palestine advocates as yourself.

If the UN considered a major problem, they have sent peace keeping forces to the region long ago. Over riding any US veto in the Security Council. If program like that flottila aid program were really successfull in altering world opinion, were is the out poring of anti Isreal media contemning it?

SB....the world also sees the restraint Isreal has shown. Seen it provide security for the 3.2m annual visitors to Isreal for the Holy sites. See Netanhyu meeting with Abbas and the previous peace accords with Jordan and Egypt....it also hears the rheotric of Amendinejad, of Hezboolloh leaders Kassim and e Faqih, Hamas leaders Haniyah and Marzouq....

Each time these men speak....it is threat to both Isreal and the 3.2m visitors to the country......till they change their rheotric and message
you will not see the world condeming Isreal.

The Second Infitada ended in 2005/The Isreali Seige of Samara and Nabual were in 2002

2006......GAZA...................June 28th to Nov 26........... 164 days
2008-9 GAZA (0peration Cast Lead)Dec 27th to Jan 12........ 21 days

That it SB. Total of 189 days of high intensity conflict in last 1825 days. Or 10.3% of the last 5 years were in high intensity conflict between Isreal and Palestines.

I going to be frank with you SB.

There are different level (intensity) of military conflict. Low intensity...medium intensity... high instensity.

Unless you have Isreali troops inside GAZA or a West bank city....you have low or medium conflict levels. Most of the time the Isreali/Hamas conflict has been low intensity.

Check the number of days....Isreal has been inside the West bank or Gaza....on military operations....for say the last 5 years.....that is 1825 days.....tell us what percentage of the conflict has been high intensity? I am guessing but I bet it less than 12%.

If you check the starting cause of the Korean war....in 1950.....was because North Korea attacked down into South Korea.

But to you....Nuclear weapons were developed for war. They cannot be used for deterrence of war? Face it Dude.....the reason Russia and NATO did not go to war....was because both had nuclear devices and it s was mutually assured destruction of both if they did.
