So tired of this marketplace...women trying to make a sale, men checking out the wares but not buying....gets old especially when it's the same thing over and over and over as new people arrive without a CLUE!
And don't you dare come near me with that damned holy water!!!
I know my kids met people in college, kept those connections, got jobs with companies that hire young people and found plenty of friends to date or just hang out with.
My best friend is a man. We have never considered dating, even though we were both single when we met.
We has his girlfriend and I am like any other friend of his. Actually it is more like having a brother, with all the various restraints that come with being related :)
I don't go to church but I live next door to the church.
I would go to church just to be more friendly with my neighbors and to be more involved in the town. But my son is in a wheelchair and does not do well in situations where quiet is necessary LOL.
Sometimes I'm out in my driveway shoveling the deep snow so I can get the wheelchair to my car. When I'm doing that, I watch the plow trucks busily cleaning the church parking lot.
Every day now I consider leaving. But I'm selfish. I still want to stay in contact with my friends and I'm still hoping to meet some wonderful men here.
I mean, heck, Spring is coming and Maine is a nice place to visit when the weather is warm LOL
RE: Old McDonald Had a Farm
I'll go with the hoe, hoe, hoe LOL
