I don't think a guy is cheap because he wanted to stay in on the first date. It can be incredibly romantic. Especially if he cooks dinner! Holy cow, that's HOT!
Very beautifully said. Sorry for your loss... it sounds like your mom was a wonderful person. When I was growing up, I always wanted that kind of mom..... one I could have an awesome relationship with. Now that I'm older, I focus on the things I have and the relationship with my own daughter. These are the things I am thankful for.
