the Thread starter was banned once before ,Mijas was his last name . Hopefully those not posting tonight will climb out of the woodwork tomorrow . Mods acted fast against him this time .
coldest fire with dark red flames is 600 degrees , steel heated 1000 gets weak at best or runny at worst . World trade centre never stood a chance . I think it was the large oak beams in the saint Pauls 1666 London fire stayed up well after the rest had burnt . Might be 100 degrees out on runny steel . I lined my house with 9mm ply because I did not like the look of the braceline plaster board, only wished I was in here for the show on Sunday .
careful who's links you lick on in the inters , more so if they are new members .I had Norton turn my laptop off once .Another time minding my own business doing something, similar thing but worse as the screen was went down ,followed by a reload that took hours , not sure what actually happened . don't care to repeat it .
heaps of them , most little . Hope its gets it out of its system . ISP call just now , having fun convincing them to leave me on current service as the real issue would convince them to move me first .
currently there is a news item about a house being sold that was built 148 years ago of timber . Needless to say that house would have been through many good shakes .
---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ---- A photo shared by one of our council's of a road not far from here , only trouble was it's a road in the USA .
every year this happens , you guys have to start waving protest signs ,block voting ,what ever it takes to push back a margin for your small towns . It has to be different for single houses as there would be no more trees , the reason why people like living in the bush in the first place people just should not be put at risk the way they are .
you are not on your own , woman I met twenty years ago was left with three early teens and a large mortgage on a lifestyle block . She started shearing, couple of years or so was at 300 a day . Fencing on her own block . Chainsaws and all the other gear on a farm . She with her brother now lease two farms over 3000 acres ,plus own their own blocks as well . Singled minded pursuit of what she wanted and to hell with the nay sayers . She was pretty tidy as well .
It is possible for private people to have a large effect using the internet on any Government, its all a matter of how to. Humour or rather sarcastic humour cuts deep into elected leaders .
---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ---- modern its not , but would have been somebody's pride and joy once . Sitting in the museum .
$ 29000 NZ , Eketahuna missed the dairy boom but got the meat and wool slump .Small town 20 mins one way doing well ,bigger one other way doing well to . $ 29000 was the asking price bet they would have taken much less .
Here's a title for you guys NOT into light reading . The Musket Wars . A history of inter-iwi conflict 1806-45 by R.D. Crosby .
This has nothing to do with the war between Maori and the British army 1860's . Come as a surprise to me as the period is not taught in schools truthfully . Although one of my son's brought it home from their high school library .
You sure did . The white one would be a bit of a novelty amongst the wild ones in the bush for a while . Bet it would freshen up the blood lines with a wild ruffy breeding with it . The storm is not as wild as predicted here at least You should have bought the section in Eketahuna while it was cheap .Open a coffee shop on it .
Me to ,I shall have another think about handling the over 40's while I go downstairs to stoke my fire ,bet I have had 8 mills of rain since I posted last .
picture 15 is where Lelee and me were on Friday , bet that stopped that cheeky Kakako wolf whistling . That place has a lot of glass around internal darkened enclosures .
Nothing like a timber house to have no damage . Water cylinder jumped in its quake strap , so that's why they make us strap them . Fire place moved on the hearth a few mills reminds me must bolt the fire down like the council wants . Kens OK , no marks that show through the pixels .
GNS changing bits about quake ,now a 6.3 at 33 k deep and moved it towards Eketahuna . Don't matter ,if I was not on my knees skinning a sheep I would have been on my bum .
been trying to get a clear line to My son is an issue . Grand daughter loved it , Ken caught the backing gate behind the cows in his face . Didn't break the concrete but it waved in his yard . Trying to get him back on Phone

LeLee watching the last chef leave town in a hurry . Next time I host somebody for the day I shall take a bucket ,rope and milk a cow beside the road . Milkshakes all round . Notice the time on Lelee's sign post . Sticklers for time . {staff must have to get back for evening milking}
