the worst winters I have farmed through have followed volcanic activity . Pinatubo was the worst . . Early snows killed tens of thousands of sheep as they were caught in the high country . The volcano in Iceland just a few years back caused many deaths among our countries livestock with a long hard winter .Can you imagine what 60,000 thousand cows look like in a mob ,that many extra died that year because of the volcano spewing crap into the air . You talk to me about waiting till my income is affected by global warming like its never been affected by changes in the weather . Next time there is big global volcanic activity come here and get a job snow raking sheep or picking up calves at 2 am in the snow and carry them to a tractor because the snows too deeP for the tractors to operate on the paddocks . THEN YOU CAN PREACH TO ME about global warming .

I learnt to drive on a Fergy and a K Bedford with a crash box . Neighbours has a kitset 4x4 put in a 35 fergy petrol . A big jump forth . Cost of the petrol took off on them in the end .

jezzzzzzzzz 12 mins all that area has been cleared and already is covered with gorse seedlings after the rain . I took a picture of a skylark which would have never gone near the area because of the cover . Its a most satisfying thing to recover lost ground and make something out of it . Its not been in pasture for 30 years or abouts .

hehe I should have you sitting on the seat beside me , Its hard to capture the feel of whats going on and how steep it is . 30 percent of viewers from both here and the US watch between 3.40 and 4 mins on average . Lots of stats from U-tube ,quite interesting .

I had it up on the site , I made it to long as what can be seen in the first 4 mins is enough . Later in the clip it shows a bit of the problem on the left side as there was limited room . Cost me a camera making it as the steel wore a hole in the screen .

I put a u-tube clip a month ago of crushing scrub of my dozer with a screaming turbo and me incoherently cursing the bloody roller is going viral in a modest way . 144 views and as its been monetised it has made two somethings , not expecting to get rich any time soon .
