How can you have death without having a life?
This shows that death only can exist because of life?
Believe what you want, but there is only different experiences of life and death is the transition between them, in fact, death is the birth into a new experience.
Not trying to change your mind, just sharing how it has been for me and will continue to be so.
Embrace death, but why not embrace your life beforehand!

It is definitely NOT the ego that transcends after physical death. It is soul. The difference between is that the ego is the "monkey mind" of the physical body and the soul is eternal. Through spiritual growth and enlightenment it is possible to elevate your consciousness from the ego to the level of soul BEFORE you die. If you identify your existence with just the physical body (ego) then by definition you are correct in believing there is nothing after physical death (the ego dies). But luckily for everyone, what you believe in this regard has nothing to do with the reality of soul (ignorance of the law (spiritual law) is no excuse) and you will experience the same as every other soul and transcend to the afterlife anyway. We will all find out in the end and what a pleasant surprise for some.

It would probably benefit a lot of us more to take a course in telling when a person is lieing (through facial or body movements) than to expect to find a person who doesn't lie. Most lies (I believe) are meant to shield us from a harsh truth but then there are the ones who lie for personal gain (your affections, money etc..). Would I lie? Probably and for the reason of not wanting to hurt the person I am lieing to but certainly not for personal gain. Although one could argue that having a pleasant domestic cituation is a gain of sorts.
I am human after all and far from perfect (but I'm working on it) or take your pick

If women don't reply (which the last time I looked wasn't against the rules) it is their perogative and as has already been stated, there are a bunch of lowlife scum who harrass them for rejection. I would feel the same if it happened to me. Some people (men or women) reach beyond what would be a reasonable expectation of attraction just because it is from behind the protection of their computer screen. A little dose of reality wouldn't hurt. jmho
