Nobody has to lie, it's a choice, and for some I think it becomes a habit, seemingly easier than facing the truth after years of being full of it.
Some people obviously enjoy it too, look at used car sales people and politicians, they don't seem to mind at all.

Well that is why I asked the question and no it is not a male bashing it is just it seems most people think it is ok to lie I do not know all men on earth either but have friends and they all wonder the same why tell a lie when the truth is so much easier. If you tell a lie you need a very long memory if you tell the truth it is easy nothing to remember just the facts.Yes I am a person that is honest to a fault and will not tell a lie for love or money like you say uptall it gets you nowhere at all. I loose complete respect for people that lie and to me just show they have very little or no respect for themselves and others......

an example of a lie........I was invited to dinner...by some friends of mine........the main meal was fine.......but the sweet .....was awful...

Ok really I would have said I loved the food but the swwet was not to my liking.........The thing is we do not all have to like what others do and to say so is not wrong it just shows you are unique and have the right to be so. If you are honest in a nice way how is that wrong.
