Far better to have never loved...assuming one is capable of finding happiness sans romantic love, of course (we are talking about romantic love, I assume).
One minor problem: the Fed is instrumentally responsible for the very mortgage debacle that it now seeks to solve with an expansion of the already monumental powers that led to our many current financial problems in the first place. Giving the Fed more authority on top of its already monumental powers would be like giving the fox guarding the henhouse more lock-picking devices in order to better regulate the problem of constantly missing chickens.

Hey! What's wrong with 50+ Oslo??!! I can do most things my younger brother can do, though sometimes they do involve a walker or other helpful tools...
Well...Badger, South Dakota absolutely excels on the first three things...though the last requirement is subject to some debate and interpretation...depends, for example, on how much you like snow and tornados...
Personally, I am dismayed when women don't wear bikinis or short skirts or tube tops, etc., because I find it hard to assess a lady's philosophic/intellectual prowess all covered up in clothes. But maybe that just me...?
I wasn't speaking so much of being attractive or unattractive in a photo, but rather of the psychological impression one makes - the subconscious statements, so to speak - that can be found in a photo. For example, if you're glaring out from the shadows or holding yourself in a defensive posture as opposed to smiling in a sunlit setting (to offer a simplistic example).
You must make judgments all throughout the process of getting to know someone. That's not good or bad, per se - simply unavoidable.
By "judgments" I don't mean condemnations or final conclusions, but rather preliminary evaluations. Those evaluations grow more elaborate and certain as we learn more about the individual.

Unless it turns out you knew something about this, Eri. Then all bets are off.
