I like to think that i have made some good friendships. I feel closer to them in a way - I don't have a huge circle of friends. Through the forums you get to know people a little bit - when you meet them - it is like meeting an old friend.
You are right star - not everyone can sense sense when it smacks them in the face. Some guys are very perceptive whilst other find it hard to see and accept the truth and honesty in others.
I had a great night - haven't been out in ages so I was really looking forward to it. Awesome is a real gentleman and looked after all three of us girls - the pole dancing episode with Outofafrica was a teeny bit disturbing lol - it was a bit sad that Blizzard didnt make it after all his promises - get out from behind that keyboard Bliz or next time we will have to hunt you down. Two of my daughters visited us and they have some interesting photos. but I have to say - to Star...you are so much fun, a real live wire, Outofafrica... a real lady with a wicked sense of humour... my daughters are still in hysterics...and they say they want to have your energy when they are 20!!!! And Awesome... I guess everyone wants to know about that one... well, apart from being a very nice person - he is a lot of fun and he kept reminding us that he is Awesome.
When do kids ever worry about money? For years I paid the girls' bill at the stock feeder - then I decided that they were old enough to be responsible for their own spending - they would put stuff on the account (always asked me first) forget to cancel deliveries when they still had plenty of food for the horses - the stock feeder laughed when they told him to put it in their name " has mum finally come to her senses?' was the comment. Suddenly - there were no splurges - no forgetting to cancel deliveries etc - and one og them in particular - the worst at spending my money was a positive monster when it came to budgeting horse feed. Amazing what a bit of responsibility can do - now if i could only get her to pay board on a regular basis I would have a good kid.
I live two doors away from my outlaws - still get on with them - any family get togethers - is still with inlaws, outlaws and others. I still talk to my ex - we are still friends - plus he knows me too well for me to want him as an enemy lmao. When he comes to Perth he stays in our spare room - I think I am pretty lucky to have the situation the way it is - especially when I hear all the horror stories many people tell.
