I was watching a program on Foxtel this morning about the Anzacs - it breaks your heart to thin of all the lives lost and the families affected by the loss.

Many years ago I was in the Army Reserves - on our Recruit camp we had a Sergeant who told us about Aussies in battle - we all walked out of that room with so much awe and respect for those men - there is no other soldier on earth who has the sheer bloody mindedness and tenacity - for those who fought and died so we could be free - I will remember as I hope we all do. My grandson (5 months old) watched his father march in the Anzac Parade today - he may only be little boy but he waved the Aussie flag. The ANZACs gave more than we can know - they should all be remembered as heroes.
