Here is man that could not make the Presidency on his own merits and abilities....that rides the shirt tails of Barack Obama into
the VP office. Then gets empowered with managing the two stimulus
plans of the country......likely the key funding projects of
recent times.....

First saying...."we have scamming going on"

Now saying..... "we guessed wrong."

What confidence, Joe has given us....that the Obama administration is acting in the American public's best interest.

First we are "scammed"....then we got it "wrong".

Joe, read the oath of office sometime.....To protect the Constitution of the United States and the country against all foreign and domestic enemies......

Could it be that China, a major foreign power, owning $767b
in US T-Bills is a threat to this country? Could it be that a
American economy the is tanking is a threat to this country?
Could it be that the leadership that is "letting scamming and error" in Washington is a threat to this country?

Joe even you can answer simple yes and no questions. Answer the first 2 of those three with yes......and then third needs to be a yes as well.

Mousavi is asking for a new election. The Guardian Council has approved limit princts to be recounted. But with such a difference,
in the vote....will that make Mousaive supporter's happy with that?

Straford came out with the thought that maybe the pre election polling was off. That it was all done via the phone and net, but many in Iran in rural areas are without. Those Straford said would likely be Pres. A supporters. I am not sure I buy the assessment though. Cell phone technology is pretty wide spread these days. Also Mousavi home districts.....went to Pres. A according to the Iran election office.

President Obama stepped into it yesterday....saying that the 'Iranians need to heard'....he did not say it was s rejection of the Iranian vote or a acceptance.....but is a step for him to support a democracy position there.

Pres. A can surely use the protest as a reason for a mass crack down. But that put another paint coat on him, as someone that would engage Isreal with nucs....if you can crack down on protest....why not a nuc in a conflict country?

Russia Pres. Medvedev in a regional meeting......seemed to support Pres A....still getting more on what was said there.

Mousavi seems to be hold firm that he won the election. As long as he does....his supporters will protest. Pres A and the Republican Guard have a cause for a crack down. And the Clerics of Iran have big problem to resolve.

President Obama speech at the AMA did not go very well. He recieved a 'smattering of boos' from the doctors. Then again if
one uses such naames calling those against his health care program 'naysayers'.....'fearmongers'......and 'peddlers of a Trojan Horse'....is not exactly going to win you friends and influence
them to your position.

Nor is taking $313b from several FED programs for elderly, hospital, and DR servicea.....

So who is right here?

President Obama........who personal experience in medical fields has to as least or near as least to his military experience.

Or

American Doctors that have spent their working lifetime in medical study and practices?

President Obama comes into this debate with the numbers that a accountant would present to corporation board. Here are the cost, here is how we can cover them, here is the need, here is the revenues.

Most Doctors apply the hypocratic oath to trying to save lives. Though some may make and have made decision by the cost and ability to pay....most simply provide the medical service....and
say the cost will be met in time.

Hillary Clinton's health care plan was some 21,000 page long.
Administrators and buaecrats were going to read thru those pages to determine if a patient met the requirement for heart transplant or spleen operation, a cancer treatment or a MRI. That is what was going to make decisions to patient care in Washington DC. if it passed. That broken Washington DC that so many have talked of.

Now President Obama wants us to trust that broken Washington DC
with our health. Because let us also face the fact, he has not reformed Washington....maybe 'changed' it....but real reform has not occurred.

President Obama has said....you will be able to have your DR and your insurance carrier if you like them. But your Dr is going to be challenging those administrators for approval for tests,operations and procedures. Your insurance carrier is going to be competing with a massive FED gov't insurance firm.

How long will your rates and coverage stay low and solid? Is a guess that none are talking of. How well Doctor can get those approvals from broken Washington to give medical care? Is again any one's guess.

President Obama did not seem to make many friends in his home town of Chicago this trip. Doctors are not like your NFL, MLB, or NBA fan...they don't usually boo a sitting president, like a sports official that made a bad call. First time I have heard of it.

But this time, sounds like President Obama is making a bad call.

Seems like the AMA (American Medical Association) and the Hospitals are having a bit of problems with that draft plan of Obama health care. Seems the hospitals don't like losing the $313b in MediCaide and MediCare that is being done. That the Dr. seem to be angry about having government agencies between them and their patients.

Seems the DR think that they are in a better position to decide the health care that a patient needs, than a untrained gov't offical in DC can.

They got one mod.....has read so many Obama threads now...when he when down to the election office to register to vote.....and they asked him what party he was designating......he told them he was non political.....any party would do.....so long as it was not DEM or REP.

Conrad, I think Dude got it 'part right' on the Iranian election.
For the reasons given in the other threat. I think that this giant
election win of Pres. A is to place international pressure on Obama.

The rest of Dude post...making peace in the middle east...is a ? mark to me.

The Isreal President is going to give a speech soon. Seems he is asking for a Palestine state....without a Army or military.

Will Hamas accept that? I don't know. Not many countries around the world...that don't have a military.

But say Hamas buys it. Any future Isreali aggression into Gaza would get massive international condemnation, yes? Even the US would likely condemn it then. That assuming Hamas is not firing rockets into Isreal.

Secondly, maybe this is good for the Palestine people. Face it they are very poor. Supporting a military is millions that can be used elsewhere.

So Netanheyuo's term of a Palestine state without a military....is new idea on the table.....and seems to me to be one that could work for both. I would suggest that Obama's 300 foreign advisor's give it some long thought and discussion.

Think about it now for a moment before you answer.

Time is up.

If he had a narrow win, his position to negotiate with Obama would not be as strong. With a near 30 point victory.....if it is legit....means the Iranian people nearly completely back him and his policies. He has a stronger bargaining position with Obama.

What I think happened here. Is either Pres. A had a narrow win or Mousavi had a narrow win....either would make Iran seem split
along the ideology lines and the the choice to negotiate with the west.

Khamonie could not have that. For him a narrow win after 30 year in power, is a rejection. Nor could Pres. A. So seeing the results, Khamonie approves the election fraud to bloat Pres A. vote and percentage.

They had blocked western media....18 reporters in jail....and the internet prior to the election. I don't know for sure....but I have not heard of election watch group being in the country to monitor it....but I doubt it. Now are tossing Mousavi's people in jail to quiet the civil unrest.

Like I said earlier...Obama did not cause this. But it does place him on the fence to support democracy or to have words with Iran.

I hope he chooses right.

Also notice how Russia is staying really quiet right now on Iran?
They have become church mice on this. Putin and Medvedev neither have given Iran a thumbs up on the election. If Russia was close to Iran and Pres. A...they would be one of the first to do so.
Russia is drifting from Iran, I think.

I mean this is the pits.....the ramifications of what is about to happen is staggering. This makes the walls street crash and the bank failout look like insignificant. The auto companies failure a minor issue......

Well if they begin to close franchises.....imagine the stress to
policemen every where. Stressed out and with out a sugar fix....they will begin to issue more traffic tickets. If you are 5 over, you are in danger of being ticketed.

Both Iraq and Pakistan has recognized Pres. A election. Placing some pressure on the President O administration. How do you work with one government, that says Iran is legit.....while you consider it a illegal gov't?

Those rich that attended REP Franks Boston Chamber of Commerce luncheon 4 month prior to the banking crisis....all got enough advise to save their pennys from the banking crisis of last fall.

I suspect that they are all waving red white and blue right now....for REP Franks giving them the head up to the crisis.
Maybe President Obama can tax them.....

President Obama is going to be in tears next April, falling man.

Those wealthy 4% that he wants to tax.....took heavy loses on the stock market this last year after his election...they are going to write those loses on thier taxes. There taxable income....is going to be far down from what he is counting on.

This is exactly why VP Biden is saying...it is 'patriotic to pay taxes'...they know that they have this problem coming....they are trying to keep the wealthy invested in America. But the wealthy bailed last Nov/Dec.

If you increase the tax rate on a smaller taxable income, you get about or less than than tax prior. It will vary by individual case. But his tax increase on the 4% wealthist of American....is not going to cover his trillion dollar budgets.

D. Morris....said he he only has two ways to go. Either print more money....which is higher inflation or even hyper (run away) inflation. Or tax a broader base of small businesses and individuals...that will constrict economic stimulus and growth.

I wish there were other options. Innovation take years to do. I know. The standard SBIR (small business innovation research grant)is a 3-4 year program. That is prior to commercialization.
But you have to prove the 'viability of the technology' prior to making and selling it.

So unless he has some very hot and highly demanded (computer like) technology that is coming thru the tech pipeline from 4-8 years ago...one that I don't know about...it is make money or increase taxes.

Now for a moment...consider a God of the Universe....that knows exactly how many pulses that heart will take in its lifetime.
Also consider that God is love.....and he is energy.....both are scriptural....by the way.

Who formed the heart? A loving God. Who placed a electrical charge to start it beating? A loving God. Who knows when that heart will beat its last pulse? A loving God.

God is also a divine everlasting spirit. When we try to understand him in our physical naturals that are dieing and fading.....corrupting in this world....it is hard to do. We have to see ourselves as spiritual.

It is now this spiritual relationship.....that we have to desire more than even the next life giving pulse of our heart in this mortal body.

CSer cannot convert you, Crotalus....none that post here are prefect or have all the answers. So a coversion by man, is
about as valueable as a cheap car wash. But God can transform
a unrighteous man to a man filled with a Holy Spirit.

Some last points, Crotalus...it is good that you ask such deep questions. That 'Holy'....simply means 'fair'. When we ask this kind of question on conversion....we begin to understand we are unrighteous (sinners) and that God is Holy (fair) and Just. But most of all he is loving and patient. That Jesus Christ is a risen Savior, sitting in Heaven on God's right hand. That he is our 'great interceder' from God's just wrath for our sins (failings).

Once you have your heart beating in the vine in the fruits of the Holy Spirit...your mind set on the things of God......expect him to do great things. God has always astounded me. I pray he astounds you.

In the 40 years I have lived here....I driven this road 3-4 time....to go fishing and photo taking. But if I on it in the

Indy, you are forgetting the 6000 jobs on the tunnel to nowhere under the Hudson River. And the 150 jobs on the bridge between two small towns in MO, that will have about 1000 cars a day on it.
The 10 jobs in CA it made to make the lines on the CA Maps for the
Marsh Mouse Habitant areas. And the road work here locally on that gravel road that had never been hard topped...that was the duck path to the lake....give the guy a break.....he is trying.

Of calm the streets of Tehran. Stop the Taliban in Swat Valley. Keep foreign fighters from slipping back into Iraq. Or keep the strait of Hormuz open to crude shipments.

We all wish President Obama well.....but if the only thing he has on his blackberry is and , we are in deep do do.

A invited him to enjoy Revolutionary Guard hospitality....showed him around the countries nuclear facilities.....gave him a demonstration of the new Russian SA-400s....let his press the button for a Jafir-7 launch......push the lever on a rocket Hoot Torpedo....I would say he is real close to mom Russia.
