I haven't been to bed yet and it's 3:35 I think this is the most depressing Christmas I have ever had so I plan on sleeping through it. Hope everyone's is better than mine.
I've been here since January and love it. I came when I needed to get away and I am so glad I did. I love it and am looking forward tot he winter. I didn't get to do much this past winter and I come from the beaches of the south and I want to get to see the other side of fun.
Well, you may not live in NYC but on September 11, 2001 along with every American from Maine to Hawaii you were an honorary New Yorker. New York is a part of your country, is represented by a star in the American flag and is one of the 13 states that is also represented by one of the stripes. A red stripe, like the color of the gallons of blood that was shed that day. Not a white one which is the color of surrender.
This is my answer to whoever attempts to stick a shovel in the ground to build a mosque at ground zero.
Since we seem to be at war with Islam, maybe we should open the WW2 internment camps for Muslins as we did with Japanese and Germans. In light of the murders at Ft. Hood by a Muslim Officer (who had sworn to defend the people, our Constitution and the United States) this article becomes more timely and real than ever;
Can a good Muslim be a good American?
I sent that question to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:
Theologically - no. Because his allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia .
Religiously - no. Because no other religion is accepted by his Allah except Islam.
Scripturally - no. Because his allegiance is to the five pillars of Islam and the Quran (Koran).
Geographically - no. Because his allegiance is to Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.
Socially - no. Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews.
Politically - no. Because he must submit to the mullah (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and Destruction of America, the great Satan.
Domestically - no. Because he is instructed to marry four women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him.
Intellectually - no. Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.
Philosophically - no. Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran do not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.
Spiritually - no. Because when we declare “one nation under God,” the Christian’s God is loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The Quran’s 99 excellent names.
Therefore after much study and deliberation….perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS in this country. They obviously cannot be both “good” Muslims and good Americans.
I was in a simular situation. If he has real intentions toward you, when are you supposed to anyhting. when she tells you what you can do? It's admiral for him to treat his daughter well, but HE is not ready for a relationship. Kick him to the curb now!!!
tell him you need money for the wedding dress LOL I have met 4 on here, 4 professions standed in Nigeria with no resourses but me , a dr with the Red Cross , a marine engineer, and 2 civil engineers who all took their kids to that nasty hole! I say tell him to send you mony LOL
