RE: United Nations Resolution 181 - would you have voted for it if it were held now?

Yeah Meg should have attacked Labor in the Upper House, the other side the house offered to support her but she would raise cheating Keatings crap

RE: United Nations Resolution 181 - would you have voted for it if it were held now?

RE: United Nations Resolution 181 - would you have voted for it if it were held now?

i didn't vote in that biased short sighted poll either, didn't have any regard to UN 181 part 2 none what so ever completely misleading poll

RE: United Nations Resolution 181 - would you have voted for it if it were held now?

RE: United Nations Resolution 181 - would you have voted for it if it were held now?

RE: United Nations Resolution 181 - would you have voted for it if it were held now?

RE: United Nations Resolution 181 - would you have voted for it if it were held now?

oh some stage long time ago i looked into that and your right he made outrageous promises when he knew that wouldn't be honored. However he manage bring together most of the Arab tribes when others failed and that is the issue not how he did it. I've never been able to locate and read what Lawrence proposed either

RE: United Nations Resolution 181 - would you have voted for it if it were held now?

The British refused to implement what Sir Lawrence of Arabia proposed for setting Arab inspirations in that area, instead promoted the Sunni that idiot Bush disabled in 1991/92

I think your all being pretty naive and max has reason to promote his distrust only a fool would trust the British

RE: Drunk

In the NZ Human Rights Review Tribunal i filled written evidence by another servicemen who had me put on the rum list. I produced photos from news paper of me running through the main street dressed as a VC.

They pre-programmed for a position i knew nothing about before dropping me in the really deep end, mostly unarmed (but not always), unsupported just short of thirteen months in South Vietnam. I traveled extensively in Vietnam, including was on a couple occasions, body guard for Commander NZ Forces Vietnam

RE: Drunk

At 1150 a.m. you must muster at the rum store, the duty officer observes that you drink the allotted tot of Navy Rum which in NZ was mixed by a person whoe's job it was to mix the Rum. Think 90% proof or something

RE: Drunk

The British Military have used Alcohol for centuries, myself the NZ army had me on the Navy Rum list for more than a year and half, before posting me to wonder around unarmed in Vietnam

RE: Favorite Online Stores

Its not my problem, i've already a proper address PO Box 30, i only pay $19 for the po box because like a number of areas around here, there is no mail delivery, that applies to most of the Alpine Highway.
There is a lady on eBay that sells Crazy Sales stuff, she doesn't mind sending to my PO Box so its not a problem.

RE: Favorite Online Stores

I've experienced at least 36 years of homelessness martia.

Yes daggy and courier service that plies the mountains delivers to the local store, (it closed down last week) but post office part remains open until end this month then parcels and mail will be delivered to the PUB...

RE: Carbon trading

You only need to look at southern Queensland to see how the countries budges have been funded. Immigration provided short turn business activity with a unsustainable building program that has been a environmental disaster of monumental proportions forced upon the rural sector of the Southern Queensland population.

The lunatic thought that mostly benefits the wealthy, that everyone should waist there short human experience pursuing wealth, has more adverse consequence than any long term benefit for the welfare of individuals.

As long as people are feeding off each other there will be more looser's than winners.

RE: Favorite Online Stores

yeah but there is no courier delivery delivering to other than the shops or general store/post office round this area

RE: Favorite Online Stores

Still got an IGA, the Post Office + fuel is opposite the Mill on the southern end of town. There is a Community Centre, Bookshop, Art Shop, NAB Bank, Pub, Creekers Cafe, a Bakery, DIP, Council and Blue Nurse Centre and couple Schools. Last week the Ensay Store closed down, the attached Post Office is being moved to the Ensay Pub at the end the month, the other Old Ensay Pub is a Art Gallery.

RE: Favorite Online Stores

Have made purchases on eBay (my first choice), CrazySales (wont post to PO Box), Deals Direct, QuickSales and Catch of the day (deliveries can be slow), SoldSmart and Gondwana Online (books).

RE: Frugal Tightwads, are you one?

chinese seem to offer some repeaters

A quick Google search will tell you cell phone boosters or cell phone repeaters are the way to go to solve bad cell phone signal issues. Those stickers and other solutions that are “passive” are all garbage. You need something that is “active” and amplifies the signal which is what a cell phone repeater is. Another term for a cell phone repeater is a BDA or bi-directional amplifier. For home users, you can even buy cell phone signal repeaters at electronic stores like Fry’s or Best Buy. They are cell phone amplifiers that amplify the weak signal from cell phone towers. Usually you stick an antennae on your roof that pulls the signal in, which is connected to the amplifier inside your home which amplifies the signal, which is then connected to another antennae inside your home that your cell phone connects to. Here is a diagram of how a simple cell phone repeater system works:
