I would never buy a name brand as I lose sunnies by the bucket load,
but I love the Fendi with the gold frame.

Many people look very cool in sunglasses.dancing dancing

Many people damage their eyes by buying fashionable sunglasses that offer zero real protection.doh doh

Nature provided us with natural protection, iris contraction or squinting. Love those tan lines to avoid squinting.innocent

Squinting makes wrinkles? Doctors now recommend sun glasses for kids as our sun can damage your eyes!

And we are all so paranoid about the sun that now many people are getting ill from being vitamin D deficient - the doctors are sitting back rubbing their hands with glees - imagining all the kickbacks the big pharma companies will give them for prescribing vitamin d medication - which was originally free courtesy of sunlight!!!

I've done my own research on this so called vitamin D deficiency epidemic. It just got me stumped that suddenly I and so many others are a bit low on vitamin D. It doesn't make sense....Until I read that protein leeches vitamin D from the body. So there you go...Makes sense, as most of us eat a fair amount of protein in one form or another, even in protein shakes and bars. I think it must be higher than before.

So for those eating a healthy diet, it's probably not that we don't get enough vitamin D into our system through the sun or supplements, but that we lose it through certain things we eat.

One of my favourite stores is amazon....it sells lots of different things, but I've only ever bought books so far. I'd be lost without having them on hand for hard to get books. Impeccable service too.

Also, deals direct on the odd occasion. Again, great service.

I whole heartedly agree about Deals Direct they are my number one site, we just purchased a one man Post Hole digger about 70 dollers cheaper than Ebay as free postage today as well.
I know if it breaks down in the 12 month warranty they will honour it,if its no good for post holes I know it will ok for planting tree's.
Venere.... often wondered about Amazon' is the postage expensive ?? been a bit wary of them but the prices seem very good. wave

Oooooo luv this thread! Why hasn't it been done before now?

Don't buy a lot on line, but last year, as a last resort ordered my daughters Formal Dress from on the recommendation of a friend of a friend.

Loads to choose from, about 1/3 price of same in Oz. Custom made to your measurements. Well made, gorgeous fabric, came on time, beautifully boxed and we were able to track its delivery online via the couriers.

Just had a quick look at the site, didn't realise they did electronics, home n garden, beauty, car tech ....... this could be very dangerous for me laugh

Off to destroy my credit card before I get carried away help

Many of the chains sell their delivery rights to independent carriers and they are the ones whom charge like wounded bulls ..

sometimes you buy 5 pieces of furniture and they want 5 delivery fees ..

However smart retailers charge just one flat fee, regardless of the quantity, which encourages buyers to do all their business in the one shop thumbs up

gotta be kidding don't you?
I'd rather pay for the assembled item delivery rather than spend weeks with a half assembled bit of furniture staring at me wondering why I'm so dumb as to not be able to figure how to put the flammin' thing together, sheeezvery mad frustrated

Its good to know which stores can be trusted as sometime it can be a stab in the dark otherwise, saw light in the box a couple of years back but did not buy.

Another online bidding site is BIDZ its so well set up and just going there to watch is fun in itself...purchased a few pieces of gold jewelry and a couple of mens known brand watches and really pleased with them, the real bargains are to be had when the USA and Canada sleeps, always check how much it is to send first... I believe it starts from $10 to $20 it takes about 2 to 4 weeks to get here.

Anyway just have a look as its so different.

dunno
