Awesome post, CJ...yes, we could all learn to do this. It also speaks of tolerance and acceptance of each other for who we are and what we believe...we would all benefit from that as well.
Nothing. It all happens for a reason, and without it all, I wouldn't be the person I am now, in the place that I am now. So, the good, the bad, and the ugly of my life...I wouldn't change any of it.
OMG...that would be bad, K! As you said, nothing wrong with one being gay, but don't try to pretend that you're not!
And thank you. It was all a long time ago.
I don't share to get pity, I don't need that...I share so that I can help others know that they're not alone, and so that they can share too, if they want to...here or offline. Many have never had anyone else to really talk to about it.
I didn't share it for that, Ken. That particular one made it so that it was many years before I could allow a man I didn't know to drive us on a date...but other than that, I healed quickly.
I learned a long time ago that when a horse throws you, you need to dust yourself off and get back on one as soon as possible...so, I did.
So? That doesn't mean God is male, it just means that's what it says in the Bible, which was written by men...literally. Very few books were written originally by women, and later it was all translated by monks, who were male, and changed a lot of wording to suit the orders of Emperor Constantine.
Yes...but it is here because HUMANS are here...taking away the God factor doesn't make humans something different than they are, Al. It will still be there in spades without God here.
