My son has just been on the phone to one of his friends in prison, yes they have cell phones in jails now. Anyway, it seems like he's quite enjoying himself. He's just been to a disco, tomorrow its crazy golf and sometime next week their going go-carting. And btw, he's in prison for kidnapp and assault.
Clair, it would seem like the train option is favourite.
I know its a different world now, but when I was fourteen I used to thumb a lift with a friend to the Lake District to go climbing for the weekend. I'm sure we were putting ourselves at risk, but being a teenager IS a risky business. All you can do is try to minimize the risk or suffer the wrath of a teenager.
