RE: Nationalism and Pride in ones country.

I read Al's post without any prompting.
I still say that statement makes no
sense (sorry Al)
I know what he meant, but as Detente
pointed out, it is somewhat off topic.

RE: Nationalism and Pride in ones country.

Not quite true.scold

I was born in Englandlaugh

Anyway, how can we feel proud of coming
from this planet?

This just doesnt make senseconfused

RE: Nationalism and Pride in ones country.

I can feel proud to be British without coming
to the conclusion that my country is better
than any other.

Except France of course.

RE: how to search

Dont think you can narrow it down on here.

Local potential partners are a bit thin on the
ground from what i can see.

Good luck anyway.

RE: Nationalism and Pride in ones country.

Proud to be Birtish, of course.

Nationalistic... hell no

RE: MY opinion on makin a better CS

The subject was valid and very much food for thought.
The op seemed willing to discuss in an adult and
informed manner.
I too was dismayed by the response to his thread.

RE: MY opinion on makin a better CS

Koni, this is so true.
Real life decisions ARE made on here based on what we
read. Sure some of it is b******t but we come across
that enough in r/l. Its up to us to sort the wheat from
the chaff, as it were.
If we dont give any credence to anything posted on
here, whats the point of it all?
I know some people are on here for a laugh and dont
take anything serious, but some are looking and watching
and maybe ready to be very serious indeed.

RE: interventions

How anti social does some one have to be
to lose their home?
I would say they would have to push it to
the limit and beyond.
Sometimes intervention is the only way,
especially for the unfortunate people
around them.

Hi C by the waywave

RE: Drinking death - Who's to blame?

The people we are talking about here are
creatures of habit.
They habitually get drunk, curse and swear,
make inapropriate gestures, fight amongst
themselves (and others) and genearally
piss off everyone around them.

Fortunately they habitually frequent the same
places, so they are easy to avoid.
I just feel sorry for the people who are stuck
with them, for whatever reason.

Neil Young...the best thing to come out of Canada?

Didnt think you would trish
