hahaha.. all that is STILL going on.. (nearly four weeks now)
it's been so funny! You would think it was the bloody crown jewels that got stolen.
I have had to write a statement... which took and hour the first time.. (over the phone)... and another 30mins a little later..
The police have been calling me once a week to give me an 'update' on the 'case'
They had to post the statement to me to sign.. and post back. (Except they just called me to say I had missed signing the most important bit hahah) So they are holding it at the desk of a Police Station 15 miles away.. and want me to come in and sign it.
They have asked me if I am will to go to court at a witness... (A witness to WHAT?... all I know is my car registration plate was there... and then it wasn't. )
and have asked me if I am 'Easily intimidated' ... and asked me if I would like to talk to someone in ' Victim support' ....

I know hahaha.. I was concerned it may have got caught on speed camera.. I don't need more points on my license..
They said it was found on the same make model colour car.. so if they did get caught on camera getting up to know good.. it looked like MY car.. Eeek!
I had the rear number plate of my motor home stolen whilst I was asleep in it. On a services on the M25 on my way to Dover and the ferry to relatively crime free France.
The problems I had at Customs! Couldn´t replace the number plate in England because I was on French plates so needed a french plate with the blue circle with stars and an effin F on it,not bleedin GB!
Why would someone in the UK want to steal a French number plate anyway???????

Claayer: and they have given me a compensation form.. to claim back the big whopping £22 ($44) for a the new plate..
Go for it! Also, if you know any psychiatrist, have a form submitted for 'traumatic psychological damage to you and your children by not only the theft, but of the negligence of the authorities not to have prevented it in the first place; seek compensation in the amount of...from the proper authorities...%D
