We each have the right to our own opinion on the outcome of this election.
As to the second part, cool....I just learned something. I'm always willing to listen and learn...it's only on my politics that I don't budge, but I'll still listen. I'll argue, but I'll listen.
I can be a stubborn cuss for one so open and flexible.
It is a good place to be...and it will be even better once the dust settles from the election here in the US.
and hang out in the forums for a bit. Lots of good people, some who are slightly twisted, overall a great gang here. Have some laughs, cry some tears, and make some friends.
This is why, for better or for worse, I'm happy that I was born in the US.
I'm not happy about the results of our election here, I think it was the worst outcome, but at least for now we have the ability to choose, and the freedom to live our lives without restrictions, so long as it's within the law. That's a good thing.
There are a lot of countries I would love to visit, but I don't think I'd ever want to live in a Monarchy, or any country where I didn't have the right to choose, to vote, and to speak my mind freely about it.
As to your original question, DVH...no, it's not only in the movies, and why not? There are actually some young men in their 20's who are more mature than some of the older men in the world. Believe me, I know some 40-50+ year olds who never left high school maturity-wise, which is why I won't date them. I know some in their 20-30's who are much more mature than the older ones...as well as some who will get older, but never grow up.
Same goes for women, though. It's all in who someone is, now how old they are. It usually won't last long though...what happens when you're in your 40's and she's 60's or more? Very few look as young as HG at that age.
Yes...I can say I'm proud of her, no matter how heavy she is...my mother, my sister, my friend...(those are the only ones on the list that fit besides the one not on it...my self).
(yes, I know you meant it for the men...but you know we gals are going to come in and comment too.)
I'm only familiar with the US for the most part...or those from other countries that have gotten a lot of airplay over here, like Pink or the Beatles, so I'll settle in to watch those with more varied experience musically.
Move over, Gilly, and make some room...I'll share the popcorn with you.
RE: Is this mean?
Awesome of the two of you. It's nice to see it when two parents can remember that the child's needs come first.I do my best, but their dad does not.
