It was made back when it wasn't such a high profile subject - and it is not camp like that other stuff you referred to. It is Aussie blokes (and yes I know Russell is a kiwi) in a normal everyday Aussie environment. Never seen the Agony and the Ectasy - felt it a few times though
It also makes you very intolerant sometimes too. Not only does the sooky La la emotion side get a bit closer to the surface - there is also the ability to get more easily annoyed or pissed off at the slightest little inconsequential thing that 20 years again wouldn't have bothered you. I know i get close to exploding sometimes - and that makes me cry.
There are men on here who openly state that they are married and won't leave their wives - just want a bit of adult fun - no strings attached. A bit sad really - is cheating either way even if the wife is cool with it!
