I agree with you. Absolutely. No debate there.

However, most of us, at certain times in our lives go through struggles that perhaps make it difficult to value our own selves. We may not see ourselves as others do, and struggle with self-acceptance and self-love due to the set of circumstances we are dealing with at that moment.

Does that make us unworthy of love?

I recently come across a writing that has given me pause to ponder this long-held idea that I've highlighted above in red. Here it is:

Stop telling people that no one will love them until they love themselves.
Stop planting the idea in people's brains that they are unworthy of love because of their own personal struggles.

Interesting food for thought.
