No, I am not a Buddhist. Why does that matter if I am or am not?
I have learned, and continue to learn, through life's lessons and experiences what does and does not matter. What I can and cannot control. Cancer has taught me how short and precious life is and to embrace the positive and let go of the stuff that simply does not matter.
Trying to control others' thoughts, actions, words, feelings, etc. is something beyond our control, so let it go and peace of mind floods in.
Peace of mind...we achieve such a blessed peace of mind when we teach ourselves not to care what others say and think about us. It simply doesn't matter what others think about us. Let it go. Your mind will thank you.
Thank you lookin. I don't have a computer anymore and just use my phone. The emotes on the second page aren't accessible anymore. I'm unable to copy and paste as well.
there is a difference between opinion and truth.... And sitting behind a keyboard cutting down others because they don't fall in line with our personal truth is not fighting back... it's silly. Debate over arguing...you will find more people receptive to your opinions.
but it's something you don't stop trying. Practice at being kind and considerate, and magic starts to happen. Positivity breeds positivity.
It was apparent that when you came back under this new profile, that you were mindful about turning over a new leaf. And you were for awhile. But then you started becoming antagonistic again, people started to react to that, and here you again, unhappy with how people engage you on here. You even seem to thrive on the negativity.
Granted, there is enough blame to go around. It is apparent the ones that are simply hateful for hateful sake.
But... Practice kindness and things will change. Guaranteed.
we as humans are constantly evolving and changing. What we want and need changes and varies as we navigate through this thing called Life. Try to be less critical if those who decide we do not fit into their life in the manner in which we perceive, and simply work on yourself and what you bring to relationships, whatever that looks like at any given point in time. As a wise friend of mine says, be Love. Focus on what you want. The universe spreads that for you.
