I cook, but so used to cooking for more than 1, so, have gone to putting some back in the freezer for when I am in no mood to cook.. yesterday was smoked pork chops...today meat loaf...tomorrow, who knows?
I have no pets at the moment, but I still wouldn't get rid of the pet because of a "Lover", it's just not worth it to me....."Lovers are replaceable...pets aren't
I am not afraid of commitment...Like most of the others, it all hedges on finding the right one willing to follow the same path ...It will never work otherwise.....
Jealousy is just proof of being insecure about ourself... No person is worthy of that....especially one you supposedly want to get into a relationship with.....I am of the opinion that "IF" I am in a relationship and it is exclusive, there is no place for jealousy(if the other person wants someone else..I say go for it and let me move on)...I personally don't have time for those games
Now, that's an idea! I've done this a time or two....had him over and cooked, but it's also been the other way around.... It also depends on the other person...are you willing to invite them to your home on the first date?
I agree....if she wants to pay, let here, if he wants to pay, let him...if they want to split it, okay, too....but discuss it before going out...it save a whole lot of time and questions.....besides, isn't better to say what's on your mind than to sit there and wonder(stew)
It takes strength, self respect, and a special state of mind, positive thinking, and actually one has to love one self to do that, with realization that one doors close, 5 others might open. Thus taking experiences with you in to the future, so when one meets that special someone, one is mature enough, and honest enough to make it work - - - BUT it takes two to tango
My hat's off to both of you. We all have baggage, but it's what you do with it that counts. Leaving out there and open, only keeps those wounds open and there is no time for healing. Closing it and storing it away is no better as it will eventually pop open at an inconvenient time and bit you in the... But, if you take the time to sort through it and put it all in order Then you can put it away and move on into a happier and more fulfilling life
