Thanks Conrad, for the HISTORY OF THE EMBARGO.Still my question remains,if Cubans and USA keep on having trade unofficially, they donnt need the embargo,do they? The original embargo was for not paying compensation for nationalization of American interest (either refuse or was not any money left to pay,as Batista took all the money to USA,icluding all Cuban gold)and because they started trading with Russia,as the USA did not want the Russians in their own back yeard, afterwards the Russian missilles crisis occur 1962,and even stricter embargo....... Therefore if there is trade (even unofficial) my opinion is that, the USA must normalize full relations with Cuba.
BP, To avoid paying the cost is easier to declare bankcruptcy and pass the message to USA goverment to take over and deal with the mess they have created.
Dear mindfful,am sure you realize why you did not get a thank you note. Am quoting Merri's and only the paragraphs ends of her spot. 1.-- """It all goes down hill""".. 2.--""" It does not last long""". and then you came in support,of Merri's concern, and i quote.... ""donnt bother Marri.. People in this state of mind, usually take concern as offence""" Merri's insensetivity is noted ,so is yours agreeing with Merri's spot, and on the top of it having the audasity to ask "" whats wrong with that?"" and lastly i donnt know how they felt by ""attacking two people in the thread"" as you wrote, certainly i got a THANK you note, while you and Merri did not. If i was you and Merri,i would have retracted the post, and apologise as well.-
By your own admission, i think ,you said, that you have never travel outside UK. Travel, meet other cultures, and then compare, and portray to us the British stereotype.
Yes,Very few murders with pension motives. Well if they were, well off, no reason to come to Greece, but the prospect,of having a steady income,is too great if you are realy poor.A cleaning Lady from Poland was saying to my mother, in her village they were eating potates only, every day. Yes,pensions early and easy for every one, that's why, we are about to declare bankruptcy.
Reading your thread, i will say practicaly all East European countries, icluding Russian girls married old or very old people for their pension.- It does happen every day in my country.
Such experience donnt have. But i will tell you what is happening in my country. Their main interest, how mutch your pension is,and if after you gone, are they allowed to claim, beeing widowed, your pension. In my country young Eastern European girls get married to old and very old men, and claim as widowed, the deceaced pension for the rest of their lives, and they stop getting the pension, only if remarried.
What is more important his appearance or his teaching skills?.- If good for the job, give it to him, under condition of the minimum dress code, the school required.-
""" People become stagment over time""", i agree with you.- So the old good saying " Seven year itch" is the answer, people have to learn to reanew their relationship, although some of them they don't know how, and some don't bother.-
What you said absolutely true.- In the Irish marriage proposal, what could have happened if the woman, was going to say to the man,"" no we get burried with my folks"".- As you put it seems his side of the family.- Again i agree with the rest you have written.
