"His" people? Palm, I respect your opinion. Trump wants it to appear that Americans are thriving while in this crisis so he is sending out stimulus checks that he insisted have his name of them. I've received government checks over the years and never did it have the president's name on it. With his name on the check it makes it look like he is taking care of what you say are "his people". Trump is for Trump. Trump wants the economy to pick up so that his private business picks up. If he loses the election he will go back to the hotel business that is in disarray.
Election day is getting close. He doesn't have time to get the economy back on track to use as a talking point in the forthcoming debates so he will undoubtedly say that he saved the small companies that closed their doors when he gave them $1,200. When election day comes it will be a matter of choosing the best of the worst two that are running. Even though Biden's brain is slow it is still a better brain than the ego maniac we have in the white house.
The difference is that in the United States 34,000 people have died from COVID-19 in the time span of Feb. to April 2020. A matter of months, not years.
We know that he has an ego that goes off the Richter scale. Trump is all about saving his hotels, and any other business that he has. Trump cares about Trump.
When Trump comes up against someone who knows more than he does he panics. Experts from the W.H.O. have said that opening the country up May 1st is too soon.

Trump wants his name on the stimulus checks. Now why would a good ole boy president want his name on a check that gives Americans money. He wants those of us who get the check to say .....what a good president. He doesn't care about businesses that are losing their shirt and everybody knows that except those who refuse to accept the truth that he is a maniac.
Putting his name on the check will delay getting the checks out although there are two opinions on that.
