The cops didn't know there were children in the car.
Yes, they are trained to shoot for mass which is in the chest. They didn't shoot for mass. They shot him in the back many times.
The guy was walking away from the scene. If the passenger side of the car had a window open one of those 7 bullets might have gone out the window and hit someone standing around. That cop's agenda was to put Blake down.
One of the cops in the George Floyd murder had only been out of the police academy a couple days. That would have been okay if he wasn't with a cop who intended to kill Floyd instead of taking him into custody.
Cops are trained that if they fire their weapon it should be with intent to kill.....not intent to stop. I think that is wrong. This cop could have shot Blake in the knee, ankle, arm anything that would have made him stop.
More than likely Blake had some kind of narcotic in his system to give him that kind of confidence to just walk away from a gun but that just an assumption.
Anyone who walks away from a cop who is pointing a gun at you has steel ones. This cop actually chased Blake around the car. That doesn't make sense. Blake wasn't a threat when the cop was chasing him. Other officers should have stepped in to stop him before he got around the car.
You might be correct in that perhaps he was reaching for something when you look at his body language.
When you get into your car you put your right foot in first and then lift your body into the car. He didn't do that. He was leaning into the car as if he was reaching for something under the seat. But that's an assumption. As Dino said his past will be scrutinized and it might come back to haunt him. They must have searched his car especially under the front seat. I haven't heard if they found something. The cops didn't have time to plant a knife or gun so what could he have been reaching for when he leaned into the car?
There was no reason for this man to be shot much less in the back while another officer just stood there watching the whole thing. One officer was holding the man's tee shirt. Why didn't the other officer step in and push the man to the ground? Absolute police brutality at it's worst !!!
On the other hand, people don't listen when an officer tells them what to do. They bring it on themselves when they defy an officers order.
This man knew his three children were in the car. He seemed to be in a rush to get away from the scene. He was there to break up a fight. Police might have thought he was the cause of the fight.
Seven shots were fired. Four hit the man. Thankfully he is in intensive care in stable condition.
I have Microsoft 10 and the Edge came with it. I find it to be interesting and helpful.
When I sign on to my computer a beautiful scenery picture comes on with a small box explaining what the picture is all about. Each time I sign on a different scenery pic comes on. If I want to know more about the picture I click on the small box and more beautiful pictures show up explaining what part of the world this particular scenery is in. I've seen scenery I didn't know existed.
I had one of those my son-in-law gave me that he got as a gift for attending a seminar. I had it for many years and eventually it wouldn't take a charge anymore.
My pride comes from the way my daughter turned out. When she was four years old I took on the challenge of raising her by myself with all the trials and tribulations and there were many of them. Now she is happily married, a retired police officer and rescues any animal that is in dire need of love and care. In general I developed a good person. Not counting those mother daughter fist fights
Being proud of her is indirectly being proud of what I accomplished
You made a good point that made me think about my voice and my aura. So in that respect I am unique as no one else has my voice except Marilyn Monroe and Jacqueline Kennedy. My aura, that's just confidence in who I am.
Miss Cell, please don't think that my post about the green card was directed to you. I was explaining what the tv show "90 Day Fiance" is about. I know you like America in particular my home state of New Jersey.
