The point I'm trying to make is if the point spread was closer, which it should have been since both teams were the best of their league, it would have made more sense for a winning score instead of 9-31 which is a high school football game.

I was joking about them throwing the game. It just didn't make sense for the game to end with a score like that. Both teams were good and got to the SB and only one can win. In the Championship game two weeks prior the Chief's played like winners. What happened in the two weeks after the Championship game? I'm probably reaching two much on this but normally the teams are in the ballpark a week before the big game but the Chiefs didn't get there until Saturday. Do we blame it on Covid?
I almost stopped watching but I stuck with it hoping for interceptions, 3 pointers, TDs, angels from heaven.
I don't know if you will agree KB but it was certainly not the norm the way the Chief's played in that game. I don't think it was the hype or even that they were intimidated playing Brady. Something was off and I don't think it was each player although they did get a lot of penalties. However, I still think there was a ghost in that game. It doesn't make sense for them to end up with a score like that.
Maybe they threw the game so Brady could win in his home state.
But neither Mahomes or Brady are black. I don't understand why he's offended. Maybe he's a fan of the Chief's and crying boo hoo hoo cause the Bucs won. Sometimes people will stretch to find a reason to be offended.

I find the championship games that happened two weeks ago to be more exciting. Super Bowl games have a lot of hype and as we saw tonight the game didn't live up to the hype.
Woodsie, I saw something on tv this morning about the fan noise. The two teams developed a sound machine. It has buttons for everything that can happen in a game.....fans shouting, fans booing, etc. It doesn't replace the fans but it would have been a horrible game if we didn't hear the background noise that they did hear. Let's hope that next year when the two teams go to Los Angeles football and life all over the world will be back to "normal".

I wonder if their lack of enthusiasm has anything to do with the coach's son being in a car accident after he was drinking. The car he hit had two small children in it. One of them a 5 year old girl who is in the hospital in critical condition. Maybe the elder coach couldn't concentrate on the game. I'm not looking for an excuse for the game loss because it's obvious Brady was the better quarterback tonight. I'm just thinking that the elder coach might be wondering if that little 5 year old girl is going to live and if she doesn't did his son kill her by driving and drinking too much.
If I said.... I want a man who is down to earth.... it would mean I want someone whose expectations of me aren't so high that they wouldn't meet his standards.
