Herd of buffalo can move at the speed the slowest is moving, not faster than that because it would otherwise leave the slowest behind.. When the herd is attacked, the weakest and sickest buffaloes are usually first to be hit because they are located at the rear of the herd. It's called natural selection, and it is good for the whole herd , because it solves those who slow down the movement. Thus, the regular killing of the weakest members of the herd is in principle a good thing for the whole herd. At more or less the same way, the human brain is a set of nerve cells, It works as fast as the slowest cells might function. We all know that drinking too much alcohol destroys nerve cells in the brain. However, due to biological reasons, alcohol first attacks and destroys the slowest and weakest brain cells. Thus, continuous consumption of beer eliminates the weakest links in the chain of information transfer in the brain, which makes the brain fast and effective. Therefore... Man always feel smarter after a few beers!
